Actually, I think it indicates that the fundamental elements of the vehicle are quite expensive to manufacture, so they can't actually make money selling the RWD much more cheaply than this, where Tesla simply doesn't do "loss leaders".This feels like another money grab.
Tesla stands to make as much profit on these, if not more than the cyberbeast with all the downgrades, and this has to cut the production time by a decent bit as well.
Paid $120,000 to.$120k here and adore it. Thanks elon!
Not on ours... ?‍Ok. Maybe it's not all beasts then. It's a SUPER stiff jolt in the front suspension under light to moderate acceleration.
Me either. The ride is perfect no matter what I do.I've had my beast for 10k miles and have never noticed this.
Notice that "C" is currently missing. Seems like a single-motor Cybertruck would work perfectly for "C", just before "D" for dual-motor and "E" for tri-motor.Digit 8: Motor/Drive Unit/Braking System
B = Dual Drive Rear Axle, Air Brakes (Designated for Semi)
D = Dual Motor – Standard (Designated for Cybertruck)
E = Triple Motor – Performance (Designated for Cybertruck)
check carvana they have plenty of them for around 50kYou do make a very good point.
Alternatively, I have been looking at a used Silverado EV Work Truck from Hertz. It is less then $60k with over 10K miles. Still researching and comparing my options. I still would like to get the CT, but some of the numbers and reported issue making me wait/look at other options.
Will be interesting to see how the market responds to this version. Seems to be giving up a lot of comfort and convenience for 10K so not for me but I am looking forward to checking out that interior.Cybertruck RWD Long Range now available

It does, and since 90% of people don't ever use there truck for hauling. They also prioritized comfort. And if you need more capacity, you get the AWD/CB version. It's a truck. Utility should come first.
