Be careful, had a Generac installed a year ago, $65-$80 and hour for work. NOTE: they came back to do annual maintenance and was checking my electrical panel and outside city box and said, “who wired your panel, it’s all backwards and unsafe?!” I was like HUH? You did!! They fixed it!

Be careful out there!!

This is my setup...I did this because I have a Ford F150 Powerboost that has 7.2kW generator.

But now, I can use it with my CT as well. I also gave an independent generator.

I just had the same Generac setup installed. Installer said to just flip switch back to Utility when grid power is restored but that trips the outlet on the Cybertruck when we do that. Installer said that it must be an issue with the Cybertruck.

Does yours trip the Cybertruck outlet when you switch back to Utility power?

Can you provide a little bit of information?

Was the Interlock not providing the expected isolation from the Grid?

Nice set up. I'd do something similar if I didn't have PowerWalls already--which, unfortunately do not support the Cybertruck yet. 123 kW is an immensely large battery, assume 20% reserve, sounds like you can easily get 14 weeks out of a fully charged CT battery.

It's crazy that those products don't integrate.

Will try. Thanks for advice.
Pick an installer from the list and I don’t think the photos are really scrutinized. Do universal charger first then PowerShare. Once commissioned you will need to add products to your Tesla app.

Charger already installed. Found guy for gateway installation. For reasonable price. But afraid that Tesla will not accept and v2h will not work

Do you have your universal charger listed on your Tesla app under your products? You should have used Tesla One for that.
The “ acceptance “ by Tesla is following the prompts on Tesla One. It’s literally a dozen or so photos and button clicks.

Well...if you already have a NEMA 50AMP charger outlet in your house and get into a jam, the absolute cheapest way (provided you fully understand all principles of electricity and safety) to power your house is this...and with adapters you can power up anyone's house with a 220V appliances plug :)

Tesla Cybertruck My home power backup without Powershare solution/ neutral-ground bonding/ transfer switch options/cold temps 1771269594473-bd

Has come in handy a few times, just sayin' :)

If I were the last man on earth, I might go this route. But knowing that other people exist who could one day attempt to use this, I can't.
