Anyone know if im about to get a badge and its my turn? Is this the precursor to it failing completely? Last time I checked it was charging at 40A.

I ended up only paying for disassembly diagnostics and reassembly, got nothing fixed.

Ordered a new one and hope my trade in value doesnt plummet by the time it gets here.

Now to supercharge until september or even october but oh I hope its some how sooner
Oh, gotcha
In UN's case, there were multiple parts replaced along with the PCS with duplicate labor.

For me the a051 error was a temp irrational error, but that showed up several days before my charging was reduced to 24A. In the meantime I've been charging at 12A, hoping that the remaining half of the PCS can handle the reduced load. Free supercharging doesn't do much for me, there aren't superchargers anywhere I would go day to day. So it would just be wasting 75 minutes every few days to charge back to 80% (special trip to and from the supercharger plus waiting for it to charge)

So is this something I need to make a service appointment for or I have to wait until it fails completely?

they won't do anything until your pcs fails a health check (mine shows a127 and a136 failed health checks). At that time your charging will be reduced to 24A. YMMV but that was my experience

Thanks for the heads up - I'll have to keep an eye on it now because if it goes the way yours did then it's a sooner than later it seems.

I keep posting about it because there was only a single mention of the a051 error on the whole internet relating to the pcs failure, so I'm hoping by putting it out there in more posts some people will know what's happening sooner than I did.

That's why I came on here to ask actually. I tried looking it up before but didnt find much, so I wasn't sure if its just nothing, a precursor to it failing or if I need to make an appt now since they are months out on them.

So They specifically said they check for overlapping labor but the other part gets replaced from below removing the pack, and the pcs gets done from above

Yeah they completely were cold to me, regional manager just shut down every idea of any kind of help whatsoever, showed Ubernoobs qoute but they just made some stuff up about how that was "different", anyway this completely sours my experience, I drive so much and meet so many people and always answer questions about the cybertruck, just being honest with people on this situation will anti sell dozens of Teslas, such a dumb move by them, probably a six figure bad call over the long run, but oh well.
Tesla has had a certain number of employees who don't have the companies best interest in mind, as long as no one reports them, they can be pretty hard to identify and replace. Sometimes those people rise to surprising positions of authority without getting busted from above (because they are reliable and carry out their most visible duties with a fair amount of competence). I'm convinced some of them get a charge out of being as bad as they can be without anyone above them finding out. Report them.
