I wish I had a VIN, so I could wish I had a truck, so I could wish I could had the new covers.

Waiting for my beast, day 211 and counting from config
That’s bananas you have been waiting 211 days. You must live in Alaska.

They don't look bad, actually kinda growing on me.

I wouldn't off-road with them though, especially with tires aired down.

Your mileage may vary.

it's only 2% or 7 or 8 miles on Model 3. It's insignificant and not even noticable.
No, but when media likes to compare d*ck length on EV's that extra 6-7 miles can matter. LOL

well, then I could save them big bucks by using obvious logic...trim the part that is causing the issue and drive it again. Lower the tire pressure to see if the tire ever hits the hubcap. Drive up on a brick while TP is 10 PSI to increase the tire deflection and see if it hits. One day, problem solved.
I get the feeling you have never done any designing, testing and volume manufacturing of vehicle parts.

The amount of range increase depends upon the driving speed. At 50 mph it's nil. At 80 mph it's considerable.

The benefit of aero wheel covers is best thought of in terms of how much faster you can drive and get the same range as driving slower without them. That's because if you need more range, you can just slow down. Aero covers give you a bit more range without having to slow down.

The effect only becomes very significant above 60-70 mph.

I see about 5% benefit on longer, faster road trips in my Model 3. At speeds above 90 mph I can feel the difference in terms of how fast the car slows down when I let off the throttle. The wheel covers add a nice little amount of extra slipperiness. I don't expect to be able to feel in it in the Cybertruck (since it's less aero to begin with).
