I recall the good 'ol days when I could buy 13 base Cybertrucks with my Tesla shares. I'll be lucky if I can afford one when it comes out if share price keeps falling and CT price reaches Model X levels..

With a potential 6 year wait ahead of me and the prospect that by the time my res comes up the pricing will be astronomical, and looking at the state of all my other preferred options being postponed by years or factories scaling back labor (Silverado EV/lightning), the Kia EV9 is looking to be the best option for anytime in the next few years. Decent range, plenty of space, 800v architecture and Tesla charge ports.

We'll see in a month and a half what the pricing will be. I'll always keep my reservation until it's called, but it's looking like I might jump on the EV9 in a year or two since I've got 6+ years ahead of me.

Elon’s comments today were very vague about price. He talked about it being very hard to make the CT profitably (he ‘was’ speaking at a quarterly report meeting after all), but steered clear of any link to end-user pricing. We will likely know in about 6 weeks.

CyberTruck Deliveries Start in November, 2023.

Technically in it is November, which is exactly 4 years from when they announced the Cybertruck.
I doubt they deliver more than a couple of hundred in the Nov 30 - Dec 31st time frame. Probably to employees.

And per Elon the ramp will be slow at first. The "experts" are now suggesting only about 75,000 will be delivered to customers in all of 2024.

If you have a reservation # in the 300,000's or even the 500,000s, you still have a helluva of a long wait.
