You basically described my situation. "AC Charging Failure" this past Sunday, two days ago. 25K on my 2024 AWD. Drove to the SuperCharger 13 miles away, yesterday (Monday), didn't work either. Earliest appointment available next Tuesday, 60+ miles away. CT is parked in low power mode hoping I have enough charge to make it. Glad it failed under warrantee, but very inconvenient since this is my work truck with all my tools on board.
I had my CT towed. I just have a PSC failure 29,000 miles. Had 30 miles range - service is 11 miles away...

..But 3 days later - no way the CT battery would hold that.

Also, consider, breaking down in a EV on the road is pretty bad, it does not roll and presents personal risk standing around in the road waiting for a tow.

Get it towed.

Given the fact it was a Tesla issue with PCS smart to not take the risk. Best case you make it no problem and save Tesla the tow cost, worst case you end up stuck on the highway.
Should be an open recall on these by now TBH.

Adding to my post here: When I did have it towed,[Not a Tesla Tow, but a regular flatbed Tow company].

When he step out he immediately asked if it would drive, he shuttered at the thought of dragging the CT onto the flatbed. He openly shared, he hated having to tow EV's as they don't roll at all.

Do the math: Consider the PSC failure description read "AC charge disabled, Supercharge IS possible".

...That was NOT true - I tried 2 Supercharger's and it did NOT charge. The error message did NOT correctly describe the failure.

So what else about that message is incorrect, or not being described.

Do the math: In a Hwy breakdown scenario, what tow company do you think is going to show up? Have you actually used the Tesla App to request a tow? I did and Tesla cancelled my first confirmed tow request...because I did not engage in a intense chat with tesla service. If I'm broken down, I request a tow, confirm my location, then use my phone to inform those expecting me that I'm going to be late. NOT engage in a short term chat dialog with my tow service.

Tesla does not convey a 'We got this', The incorrect error message, the fact SC was NOT working, them cancelling my 1st confirmed tow request - did NOT leaving me feeling confident of the problem, nor any on-point support. They were not sure they had a loaner. So I get tow off the hwy to Tesla and sit there, because don't have a loaner?

Also, the soonest repair appointment was 3 days out!. With a vehicle with 50 miles in the tank [I burned 15 miles trying the Supercharger]..then the CT Looses 4% per day.

I determine my own level of risk and reward, thank you.
I'll drive by and wave at the broken down-stuck in the middle of traffic

***Just had the SAME Alerts today where it appears it stopped my home charging...looks like over a week to get an appointment on my 2024 FS AWD VIN 69XX 43K miles....hopefully we will get the LATEST REVISION of PCS (REV-G?) Im afraid to drive, so martyr to get it to the SC and convince them to give me a loaner...as I am too fearful to drive anywhere for a week...and need a vehicle. T should really make a GOOD WILL decision and warranty PCS same as motor/battery...since they know it has been an issue...(Tesla currently, has OVER $2 BILLION dollars set aside for warranty reserve)

Sorry to hear about that. They were odd about a loaner, first-come-first-served.

I had mine towed 2 days before my appointment, mainly because they had a loaner that day. And I just had new tires put on, so I did NOT want to watch my CT dragged onto a flatbed if it failed completely.

Have it towed, so they can drive it on the flatbed and off.

VIN 19XX. 9,900 miles. Took delivery in March 2024. Failed a few days ago. Can still charge at 24 amps for now. Submitted service appointment Friday evening, hasn't been scheduled yet.

What if you drove it to SC right away with 30 miles range 11 miles distance and not wait the 3 days?
I'd bet they would take his truck in right away and fix it.

If this happens to mine, I'm just gonna drive it right to the service center.

That's what my CB sounds like. Do you have the factory lightbar installed as well?
Sorry to derail the discussion. Tesla service had my truck for almost a week and could not find the source. I decided to remove the sail appliques that covers the roof rack mounts. I found the cable that goes to the light bar to be laying loose, and secured it around the bolt, as I don't need it yet. I am fairly certain that is what caused the flapping/slapping sound. In specter the mounts for the appliques, put down a 1/4" rubber molding around the ceiling panel (Amazon.) This made the appliques seem a little tighter fit when I put them back on. So far so good and no more strange sounds.

See if you can take it in and get a loaner. The free supercharging and ability to test drive a diff model will be nice.
