I am wondering if that stream is from top inside vault. And user can choose to see from that camera or the on from rear bumber. Choice is power!!

throw a question mark at the end and bobs your uncle! There's that word confirmed again. This forum's got such a loose connection to the meaning of confirmed.
A standard mirror would do the same damn thing. The camera needs to be behind the tailgate or else the vault would block the camera or mirror!Check out this photo of the the Cybertruck's rear view mirror. Looks like it's projecting an image of the vault cover? Which would mean we're looking at rear view mirror with display screen .

Unless it can show either, with a promptI would say if it was a mirror you would see the vault cover, but if it was a screen displaying a camera view, you would see outside of the truck. It would be useless to display inside the vault.
Just my thoughts.....
It will certainly have a rear view camera (backup cameras are now required by most states) The backup camera will be on the main touch screen. The rear view camera (the always on camera with vault closed)I would say if it was a mirror you would see the vault cover, but if it was a screen displaying a camera view, you would see outside of the truck. It would be useless to display inside the vault.

CONFIRMED: It's all speculationThere's that word confirmed again. This forum's got such a loose connection to the meaning of confirmed.
It's from the 4k walkaround, at 1:57:Do we know where this picture came from? It would help to see it zoomed out so we understand it in better context.
Yes, but the reveal night Cybertruck prototype had a digital mirror.Elon is extremely cost effective and would not put another LCD screen in the rear view mirror with all the added wiring when they already have a touch screen display that is effectively free and much larger to display the rear view when driving.

Note that the vault cover had already been retracted at this point.

What you say is we are NOT looking at an image of the Vault Cover. On reflection, It's something about that mirror that throws me.It's from the 4k walkaround, at 1:57:
