I'm hesitant. Mine was born" January 31st so its later production. Unless I'm in service for something else, then I'd say they can go ahead with it. No wraps
You can paste your VIN here (https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls) and it will tell you if you are affected. Let us know! Mine is earlier and is definitely affected.

This probably doesn’t account for sales made in Canada or Mexico….those recalls would be seperate I would believe, so the sold count I believe is higher.

For what it's worth you're not alone. I've seen others post the adhesive behind the tailgate fail, rear quarters, and frunk.....and of course the cantrails.

I had an appointment for the Flex Harness and the Cantrail was added to my appointment.. Now my passanger side was done about a month ago, so apparently they want to do Drivers side this upcoming monday.

Interesting to hear your service center added it to your appointment. I have an appt this Saturday and they haven't added it. I'll need to add it to the list...and I REALLY don't want to make a 3rd trip to get it fixed. Hoping they can fix it all within the same day...but I'm not holding my breath since they've told me the appointment time is just a timeslot to drop the car off, not that the tech can work on it right away (still blows my mind).

I checked for my vin, and it is listed. Used it as a trigger to schedule my first service appointment since I got my CT, August 2024.
service scheduled for April 1 (not a joke).

It was listed as a voluntary recall on the NHTSA vin-check response.

You guys are just complaining about missing some skin. I might be missing my Nuts

I ended up buying 2 F150 lightnings. Love the truck. Just couldn't see spending the big money on the cybertruck.

So turns out my lighting might be missing my ball joint nuts?
Or they're weren't torqued properly.

I believe you will eventually not be able to reregister your truck if you don't complete your recall withing a timely fashion. Had that happen to me with my Nissan NV with an air bag recall. Dmv wouldn't let me register until I had it replaced under the recall.

Wish me luck when I go to the Dr and have them check my nuts. Wife thinks I'm kidding.

That's not how it works.

The recall is on produced vehicles, not sold. Some of the recalled vehicles haven't even been sold. It doesn't matter where they were sold.

I've never heard of this in any place that I've registered vehicles (HI, ME, NH, MI, KY). Sounds like that's specific to California.

That is pretty weird! Definitely get it fixed; that sounds like it's putting pressure on the joints.

Any state that does inspections (or an inspection is triggered) will hang you up on that.

Just happened to me Dec 2024, on my 2014 NV. I guess I waited too long and dmv called me out on it.
Waisted 5 hours on a 15 minute job.

All vehicles manufactured on or before Feb 27th. So if you didn't just take delivery, yours is included.
It says they didn't fix it at production, though, so all the held trucks will also have to be fixed - but since they never left Tesla they don't need to be 'recalled' so they're not in the count. But they still need to be fixed.

It just means they haven't delivered a truck they built after February.

FINALLY. Based on the number of badly aligned cant rails I've seen, the manufacturing of this part has been bad since the beginning. My passenger side one looks terrible and my local Tesla service center said they wouldn't fix it. I'm hoping they built a better manufacturing fixture along the way.
