Just received the Qmerit quote back, after almost 6 weeks since my initial submission. In between I have tried to talk to some of the electricians contractors and electrician companies about doing a simply inlet receptacle approach with various results. It looks like the cost from Qmerit is much more reasonable, comparing to $2-3K quote I got for inlet receptacle + manual transfer/interlock without permit and done by non Tesla certified contractors...
This is for North Cal in the Bay Area, thoughts? Anything to be mindful in this process if I go with Qmerit? Would their quote dramatically change from what they charge eventually?
