That massive slab of windshield glass looks so awesome! The entire car is hardened against impact, it kind of makes legacy pickups look old-fashioned and quaint.

Bring on the hailstorms!

What was he about to say about service customers?!

Guesses:
Service customers are not ready for those out of pocket body repair costs.
Service customers are not going to be dissapointed
Service customers are not going to need these panels aligned on delivery.
Service customers are not gonna get an appointment if they are complaining about range xD

The forward facing view looks expansive. I see that both front windows do not go fully down leaving a bit of window exposed while both rear windows go down completely.

It also looks like the cup holders are ergonomically placed, unlike my model S and X.

Looking very tight overall.

Wellll... Hate to be that guy but looks like something's up with the tonneau cover. Looks like some of the trim got ingested on retraction at some point.

Gotta say I didn't notice any waves in the rear quarter panels either! Very nice!
Strange because I did see some on the right side rear quarter panel around the 23 second mark... definitely some waviness present.

Also kinda weird if the front glass doesn't go all the way down and out of the way. Some ppl like to lay their arms in that area while driving..or have their dogs hang out the window. My pup would scratch the hell out of my tint if the window didn't go all the way down like that.

Front windows do go down completely. Franz did it at the Petersen Museum.

It goes down all the way. If you watch the cars & coffee video where Franz shows up, you can watch him roll it down.

I actually think it looks pretty friggin tight.

FWIW, lots of people misunderstand panel gaps. It's not wether or not there IS a gap, but rather if the gap is constant on both sides of the panel.

In this case, while there is a gap, it is consistent on both sides of the panel.

The only difference in RC vs Beta builds is the panel gaps and panel quality is substantially better than we have previously seen.
Critiquing panel gaps on pre-production units is an exercise in futility, that being said panel alignment is definitely not consistent on the hood and tailgate. It also does matter if the gaps are consistent but canyon sized, like the one just below the wiper.

I am glad I am wrong about those windows! I guess both front windows being at the same level threw me off.

thanks for setting me straight!
