If Elon put his foot down, he could ban all phones and cameras from the production floor. But by limiting what’s being released, it keeps all the hype that creates all this forum talk and speculation going. Of course with all the forum members participation, the teams gather the information, and have regular if not daily inner office chats of what’s talked about.

For 19 years, I actively participated in a world wide plumbing manufacturing sponsored Forum. In that time I was invited to the factory 5 times on their dime. This allowed us pros to have hands on show and tell with the engineers, product managers and Ceo of the company. New products were developed and expanded upon because of mine and others who made suggestions and offered hands on real life experience in the field. I know there are several products out there because of my direct input over the years. I know there was 1 product specifically that I literally drew out on a piece of paper that was given to and engineering team and worked on for months, and then mothballed. I know that there is another product that I had the idea for 15 years ago that will soon be hitting the market.

Yes, these forums are monitored by teams and shared daily with the management and upper executives that gather intelligence. It’s a win win for us and Tesla.

Believe me, Tesla is using these leaked videos and photos to get all of our free input.

I’m sure there are some on this forum who will have the opportunity to meet at the factory and have round table discussions with the team. Has it already happened? Not with me, Yet. Others, probably. Remember what gets discussed here will someday be seen in our Cybertrucks. No different that what I’ve Experienced in the past 19 years on the plumbing forums and 48 years in the plumbing field.

Keep the discussions going and who knows, you just might be a guest of Elon and company.

I can assure that is not the case with at lease some/several of these ‘leaked’ photos or vids.

separately, but here based only on my own views, I doubt Tesla is all that concerned with the minutia views of their 0.1% fanatical fan base - whose views are typically equally marginal.

Drip, drip, drip. Tesla is probably 2-3 months away from Cybertruck production.

I will do everything in my power to keep the status quo from November 2019. Everything.
No matter what you may hear.

I have great confidence that Tesla will, in time, produce the Cybertruck very efficiently. Certainly, as efficiently as the Models 3 & Y. Given a higher COG including larger battery pack, SS skin and new tech like robust air suspension and 4 wheel steering (SBW?), the inflation adjusted price is going to be higher than the 2019 estimates ... period! (thank you Sean Spicer)/s

In order for Tesla to continue to dominate the BEV market, Tesla must make a profit on the Cybertruck. It's simple business principles that with high demand, the more profit made, the more bounce the stock gets and that additional capital allows for R&D and production expansion. Tesla always plays the long game and when external forces (economy, interest rates, competition) or problems requiring design/manufacturing change, Tesla responds immediately. No other company in this world is better positioned to meet these challenges because to put it simply, they aren't Tesla.

Towards the end of my Toyota Corolla assembly line days in 1990, l was training and the directive from management was to NEVER 'push the red button' to STOP the line if you could avoid it.
In my time working in a data center, the "big red" EPO button was only ever pushed by mistake, or as sabotage. It always caused much sadness.
