Rumor: reservation numbers starting with "112" will be delivered relatively quickly.

11247 here...day 1, minute 1 reservation..2018 Model 3P owner. I will bypass for the Beast mode version, or the 500m version..which ever that is offered first.
I’m thinking about this as well. I really want 400+ Tesla miles.

Curious if the 112 prefix was assigned to Tri Motor reservations.

It wasn't, specific numbers weren't assigned based on trim. As far as we know its mostly sequential, and it is shared across multiple product lines, not just Cybertruck. I have a dual motor reservation (not that what you selected matters) and I am in the 112748XXX segment, which is roughly in the first 5k by number.

I have 3 CT reservations. One early morning day 2, the other two about 6-months later.

My day 2 reservation prefix starts with 113, the other two are 113 and 112.

I expect that after the Nov 30 delivery handover, Tesla will begin sending out configuration emails to reservation holders. Reports here will shed some light on how it's being done. For example, will those who opted for FSD on their reservation, or existing Tesla owners get preference? Will the order be determined by the reservation trim selection, or will that be something open to change at configuration? We'll soon know.

Yes, “configure your Cybertruck“ e-mails should be going out soon.

2024 will be an exciting year. It’s been 48-months of waiting and years of price/spec and speculating.

I'd love this to be true, but honestly, how often does anyone in a Tesla gallery/store know anything to do with time frames for anything, let alone how the reservation system works in relation to delivery.
99.999% of the time they just say what the customer wants to hear
I wouldn't mind a delivery around the Month of January personally.

I used to see the configuration of my original order. As of 1 week ago, I can no longer see that information in the "Manage Order" web page. I am now left only with my Reservation # and the "Cancel Order" option.

No... There is just one reservation pool of numbers across all Tesla products. If you reserved a CT and Model Y at almost the same time, you could have sequential reservation numbers. My CT RN is 1133440XX and it was for the old Tri-motor/500 mile version.

On Thursday, I'm expecting Tesla to announce the Cybertruck. Nothing else, no dual/tri like back in 2019. They'll offer one version of range, probably like 327 miles or so. (I hope for more but doubt it). In addition, you'll be able to configure your 327 mile range Cybertruck as a standard build or a performance build which will get you an additional motor (and 2.6 seconds 0-60) but no more range. The only other options I see would be 3 choices in wheels/tire sizes and the white accented interior.

It'll look like this (in my head)

You'll be able to configure your Cybertruck using the following info where you select 1 thing from each row.

1. Cybertruck (two motors) or 2. Cybertruck Performance (three motors) -- Note: they both are 327 mile versions

A. Black interior or B. White accented interior

1. Wheel choice 1, or 2. Wheel choice 2, or 3. Wheel choice 3

Possible configurations:
1A1, 1A2, 1A3, 1B1, 1B2, 1B3, 1A1, 2A2, 2A3, 2B1, 2B2, 2B3

That will give us a total of 12 different version of the Cyertruck. (2x2x3)

No, the take rate is less than 30% if I recall correctly. Better to configure 1000 with a 100% take rate @ $7000 ea ($7M), than 1000 with a 30% take rate @ $12,000 ea (1000 x 0.30 x $12,000 = $3.6M).
