Stainless tailgate cap and sail panels

It’s not rocket science. Just pry off the existing cap with a flat screwdriver, inside lip has 4 or 5 torx screws that you remove. Same screws are used to secure new stainless cap in place…The stainless tailgate cover is very robust.. Pretty cool as a stand alone piece. Upper and lower sail panels would add lots more to the clean look.. Tesla should have done this….

Thanks, I haven't taken my stock off yet (haven't needed too, much more familiar below the frunk *sigh*). The plastic is just crap and wears if anything rubs on it.
I'll also likely be using a rack so those wouldn't be as applicable.

Surprised that I just saw this thread! How can I order one? I would really like the tailgate top cover plate! Does it sit flush with the side appliques? I would like the side pieces too but that's not the look I'm going for because those are on top of the factory pieces and will not be flush with the tailgate.

Update. Friday I will be meeting up with the fabricator to hopefully take delivery of the first full set. If so we will take lots of photos which will then be posted on the fabricators website and we should (hopefully) be up and running/ready to deliver to anyone interested…

I would be a taker for the tailgate cap,but those attachment bolts protrude too much and can catch an object sliding in. Anyway they can make them flush?

Yes final version will have flush hardware with reinforced support underneath to prevent bending. It will be job tough! People were asking for a video , maybe I should have waited a bit longer to release it. I will make an update video when Jasper has the next couple sets made up!
