Thanks, I haven't taken my stock off yet (haven't needed too, much more familiar below the frunk *sigh*). The plastic is just crap and wears if anything rubs on it.It’s not rocket science. Just pry off the existing cap with a flat screwdriver, inside lip has 4 or 5 torx screws that you remove. Same screws are used to secure new stainless cap in place…The stainless tailgate cover is very robust.. Pretty cool as a stand alone piece. Upper and lower sail panels would add lots more to the clean look.. Tesla should have done this….
I'll also likely be using a rack so those wouldn't be as applicable.
