Where did you source the T slot rails? I may try to do this, but shorter as to not use the top rack slot which I'm using for a lightbar.
If I need it quickly I buy T-slot here: McMaster-Carr
They probably have a warehouse nearby that can deliver to overnight by ground at reasonable prices.
If I have time to wait I buy it here cut to my exact length: Tnutz

I’ve done similar with 2040 extrusions and a custom bracket to interface with the stock mounts under the plastic doors. Then used 2040 extrusions to connect side to side. Have L-tracks mounted at bed. Solar panels above glass roof, starlink mini mount at top of bed. 50’ light bar mounted at forward just above the windshield. Plus 3d printed parts to clean up the look.

For anyone reading this, do NOT use PLA. It will deform and fall apart in moderate summer heat.
Yah i dont know if thats true, I have some PLA rifles ive printed, 22lr of course and they have sit in the sun with no issues. Great job creating the design tho, I would love to have more time to design and print things out of my own ideas also for the CT
PLA (Polylactic Acid) degrades with UV exposure, thermal fluctuations, and humidity.

I love this design. I’ve been looking for risers like this to attach fly rod holders made by Trxstle directly to the riser. If I don’t have a 3D printer, how best to find a producer to make these for me? What material is best to survive the high UV environment of Colorado?

I can probably help you print a set, where are you in Colorado? I am in the Denver area.

I have been using the rack a lot at my house project. I have had good luck with TPU, I like how tough it is and how provides some flex. Nothing will last forever in the intense Colorado UV, but it should last a long time. I can get them made in billet aluminum for $$$, but I think I still prefer the TPU.

My two online sources for T-slot is Grainger (fast) Tnutz (cheap).

New Risers for 1.5"x3" T-slot cross bars. Easy to install, just two fasteners per side.

Thanks for sharing the files. Just had a friend print the mounting points for a similar rack I’m working on (the original set in the first post).
What hardware did you use to secure the mounting points to the truck?
Cheers
