The only negative I’ve experienced was a 5’4” muscular guy with a beard the size of his own head that looked like he was compensating for something. All he did was shake his head.
And instantly, two 20 something girls screamed at me while they drove passed - “We love your truck!” ???
Opposite reasons within the same minute in Texas. ?
Same case here from someone with manhood issues while I was going to an doctor's appointment.

A huge dude driving a soccer mom mobile even followed me to the parking lot to drive by and give me his two-handed bird salute.

Their parents probably hate Elon. CyberTruck= Elon
Realize that as Teen agers they are all searching for something - it’s just a part of their psyche. They get adrenaline rushes when they act out and hopefully get their friends to show approval. It has much less to do with the Cybertruck than it does with them. Have you also noticed a good portion of “Adults” have never grown emotionally past that phase? It’s that you have something they can’t reasonably attain, so they “hate” it…. It’s kind of a normal thing Stupid people can’t be fixed.

I’m glad no one has flipped me off. Not sure my reaction but it probably won’t be good.

I didn’t say that I care what they think, I don’t. But I am curious some of the reasons, and it’s been interesting to hear other owner’s exp with different groups.
Do you also care about the reasons why so many teens (a majority) like the Cybertruck?

I see a lot of false narratives being pushed that people don't like the Cybertruck. Certainly, some don't, that's a given. No vehicle has a 100% approval rating and the Cybertruck is polarizing, that's for sure. But having had my Cybertruck for a week now, the positive responses have outnumbered the negative by 9 to 1. And the positive responses tend to be over-the-top positive, while they negative responses are generally just a shake of the head, like they are saying "what were you thinking?", or a frown.

Some people don't like non-conformity. These are the people who, if they lived during the American Revolution, wouldn't have supported our right to be in charge of our own destiny. They are conformists who don't want anything new or different. And the Cybertruck is certainly new and different. And it's as American as they come.

This CT owners club app attracts adults.

TicTok has teens and immature adults.

a LOT of teens get there info from propaganda sources that may not like Elon. Just like someone mentioned above. The CT = Elon. Don’t like Elon, he’s too rich. ( they think) We are dumb for giving Elon our hard earned or play money for the “stupid” CT.

On the contrary, Elon has created 1000’s of jobs that provide families income. And paying for the life of those teens. Ha!

People click on articles and videos which have titles and content that is focused around negativity and people want it. Even if the information is not true, it is accepted without critical thought. Until our society changes, which is won't, this type of information will be produced for likes. I quit all social media and even avoid most forums at this point. I love my Cybertruck and don't care about the opinions of anyone. Even people that own and like Cybertrucks, post negative articles/videos about it for views.

The vast majority of responses are positive or neutral, and I’ve talked with many kids about what they like about it. It’s unlike any vehicle ever made, and the spectrum of responses are wild.

The only negative I've had with the CT was during a zipper-merge, when the truck behind me on the left accelerated to prevent me from merging and tried to push me out. Fortunately I've got more than enough throttle to go around him and the next car before I ran out of road.

Dunno if the driver was a teen, I left him in the dust and the rearview display is too small to see if drivers behind me are crying

Do you notice how these people who are angry of Cybertruck-hating teens are teen haters themselves?

If you want less of them haters, start with yourself. And don't breed. :p

In my home country Luxembourg and globally in Europe just now in 2024 journalists discovered the existence of the CT. Most of their articles are complete bullshit and lies, like most of journalist articles nowadays (Ukraine, Israel, global clima....). From the rust, to the crumple zone...... everything bad is good for them to get clicks.

I receive from my friends every 2-3 days an article that says that Tesla and the Ct is crap. Also, most of the Europeans are 100% against EVs and really agressive in their comments. And all of them talk really bad abpout Evs and most of them never drove a Tesla or EV.

The problem is that our mostly stupid green parties (the biggest warmongers and banning everything that brings some fun of all the political parties), which loose in each vote more and more votes, are still in most of the governments and try to force an EV on everybody. I like this, not because of the global klimacrisis, but because I've got a 8.000 dollar bonus for my Y.

With my friends it's I think like everywhere, you love or hate the CT, there is nothing in between.

And having seen it in Tesla Vancouver, I even love it more now, and just pray that in the next 2 years it will come to Europe.

I don’t know if others have similar experience, but as I drive around in CT, most reactions are good/fun, but I’ve had several teenagers flip me off, yell “I hate your truck”, and just today, a girl roll down her window and just yell “F*ck You”.

Perhaps it’s the storyline that they’re dangerous? Or bad for the environment? Something on TikTok saying they’re evil?

*Update
To be clear, I don’t really care that there are people that don’t like it, I love the truck and care about my reasons. But I am curious some of the why’s behind the hate, and it’s been interesting to hear other owner’s exp with different groups.
If I get flipped, I’ll just smile and flip back with two hands while in Full Self Drive mode. Then I’ll say I bet you can’t do that, can you? ???
