Being a surfer and saltwater fisherman I was anxiously awaiting to see if there would be a pass-thru between the cab and bed to be able to fit longer surfboards and fishing rods over 8’ when you want to lock them up, travel, etc. While is looks like this will not be in the design I was wondering if there has been any evidence that that the rear window will roll down. Has any of the early recon been able to verify this?

Yes, there were reports that the Cybertruck at the Cyber Rodeo had the back window down at times. Not much in the way of rumors for the Midgate. But there have been rumors of the back window capable of going down.

tesla: "you really want a midgate?"

forum: "YES. YES. YES."

tesla: "ok, that'll just be $13,000 more is all"

Well, if you want to pay 80-110K for an 8,500lb truck. And I think GMs ramp is gonna be uglier than CTs.
Well if you want to pay 80-110K for a triangle truck that you can shoot arrows at and go 0-60 in 3 secs. Seriously there are a lot more practical features on Ford and Chevrolet trucks than the CT. Tesla spends money on the CT on some questionable things (Elon whims) where as others are spending money on things their customers have asked for over decades.

The CT has a better charging network and L2 driving system which are strong points for me. If those were equal in the Ford T3 or others the CT would likely drop a lot lower on many peoples list except for the superfans that like arrows and tommy guns entertainment.

I don't personally care about the arrows or bulletproofness, I'm interested in the rust resistance and door ding resistance lol

If the charging network was the same I'd still pick CT over things like lightning and (probably but haven't actually seen it) silveraydo. The lightning at least feels outdated already. And the Silverado was murdered by the union so it doesn't really count.

Now 4WS I could've lived without. But I don't think there's much else that we know of so far that's like, meh it didn't need that. I am all about me some lockable storage with the vault. Everyone of my trucks have had toppers.
