"My" current Tesla Model 3 belongs to my wife. No way she has interest in allowing me to sell her "babY'. The CT will be my 8th truck in my lifetime.

Wow, I’ve only ever bought 1 car new, 1 lease, and maybe 6 other cars I’ve driven regularly? Only 1 was a truck.

Early in my career, I endured a 2-hour commute each way, daily. That really turned me off from long commutes, and I’ve made a point of living near my job ever since. That’s how I was able to drive the same car for 25 years.

Of course, now I WFH. Why am I buying a truck exactly? Idk lol

You are most likely younger than I am!

It might just be the toughest Truck you've ever had .....imagine if you keep it for ages.
BTW If you get a Model Y in the future, it could well be a 'Million Dollar babY'
( NOT FOR SALE )

🤣 I feel ya'. I'm only 6'3" but since I keep a pair of readers on my head at all times, everytime I get into my wife's MS they crush into skull against the sun visor. 😫
I hear that!!! I’m 6’ 3”. i don’t keep readers on my head. My wife will always have her visor down in her outback. So it hits my head every single time I get in to drive. You would think one of us would learn by now.

I blame the brain damage caused by the nose bridge on my glasses pressing on the "learning new stuff" part of my cerebral cortex. 🥴🤪

A few years ago my wife mentioned Tesla to me and I started reading about them. Then my wife said hey we should get you a car for your 60th birthday. You know, something you want. Then I placed my reservation for a cybertruck.

Flash forward a few years and we are up visiting an Uncle in Canada and he’s telling me, you don’t need a Cybertruck Yada Yada Yada. Then my wife joins in. Aaaahhh, it’s a nightmare.

So we are back from that trip and my wife is talking about something I’m watching reporting about the cybertruck..she walks by saying, cybertruck, cybertruck, cybertruck. I said but I can’t have one now and she says, who told you that! Marriage is interesting on a daily basis.

5 seats, still a deal breaker for me no matter how cool it is. I’m looking at Model X‘s with 7 seats.
However, I’m so far down the line for Cybertruck that I may be able to get the 6 seats when Tesla offers it on the refreshed Cybertruck.

My wife and son is soooo sick of me talking Cybertruck. They used to not mind it, but after years of me talking about it, they just can't absorb it anymore. lol

For those of you who have a Tesla - assuming the re-sale value never recovers, will you be trading it up for the Cybertruck and take a hit or are you keeping both?

Ballers are welcome to answer, but I'm more interested in those with more restricted budgets (asking for a friend).
I'll be getting rid of my '20 M3P, not because I want to, but my wife insists! She and my daughter will be keeping their '23 M3s (until the Highland drops)...
