Adams All Season Windshield washer fluid

I've tried many, I mixed my own using concentrate from Einzette, McKee's 37, Honda, all for winter freezing temperature. But I think the Adam's is probably the best value option at this time.

RainX was my go-to for 10 years, until I used it in my Macan and it fouled the fill sensor. Only way to fix it was to replace the sensor. Most cheaper $2 / gallon gas station or Auto store brands don't actually stay liquid at -25F.

And almost all other brands are dyed so dark, your car looks like a Smurf.

I've never found better than BMW brand washer concentrate:

Product Detail | Shop BMW USA

Cheap ($3.95/bottle list, $2.52/bottle at my local dealer) and you can make is as strong as you'd like.

I usually make two gallons from one bottle. Stuff is amazing.

You can also get it at Mini dealers (not sure about Rolls-Royce, haha!!)

I will be filling my CT with this stuff this weekend.

Because of the special glass that Tesla uses, they have recommended that you never use a washer fluid with rainX or bug remover in it. I do not know if that applies to the Cybertruck since its glass is different from the other Teslas. I live in Colorado and have had Teslas for over 12 years. Jus the cheap washer fluid with no additives has always worked fine. When it starts to not work, at around the 1 year point, I know it is because I need new wipers, not fluid.

Is there a video on how to add more fluid?

Does using fluid other than tesla void any warranty? Only ask because of the comments about the sensors not working when using certain types of fluid or due to tesla “glass”.

See the 2nd sentence below on their reasons.

That's a false narrative that previous Tesla use special glass, it's standard automotive glass that all manufacturers use. It comes in different thicknesses, with different center laminates and different coatings but there is no reason to avoid certain washer fluids because of the glass. Tesla recommends not using things that can leave a film on the glass because they want all the windshields in the fleet to bead water in a consistent manner so the cameras and rain sensing will be more consistent from car to to car.

The Cybertruck does use a more expensive glass (borosilicate), and it is stronger for it's weight. It's also more chemically resistant to acids and bases compared to soda-lime glass.

You cannot void the warranty, even if you pour hydrochloric acid all over the truck and drive a dirt bike over the roof. The damage from the acid and the dirt bike will not be covered, but the warranty is not voided (the warranty never covered damage from strong acids or riding a dirt bike over the roof).
