I can't imagine it would make any *measurable* areo difference compared to traveling speed or normal weather winds hitting the car from side or near front. I think there was an obsession to hitting a cd number ;)
you’d be surprised.

at EPA conditions, Tesla has previously said that for for every 10% reduction in drag, range can be increased by 5%. That range increase improves greater at higher average speeds.

Those wiper pockets forward of the windshield create turbulence and low pressure areas, increasing drag. At 75mph, add up up 5 or 6 of those tiny improvements to drag, and it’s cumulative. Offsetting gains you’ve made in battery performance or increasing the need for more cells.

Not disagreeing that Tesla could have chosen to forego an aero improvement, and altered the look of the CT from on-stage.

instead just stating they appear to have disagreed

I hope we see some new areo fluid dynamics on a model with the BAW and how it affects the
pink rectangle compared to the
yellow rectangle.

Twin BAW would’ve been a good idea. It’s symmetrical and practical.

My company has enbraced AI with a new initiative, "Business Automation Workflow". I am now getting inundated with emails about "BAW this" and "BAW that" omg

I’ve grown to accept the BAW (KISS) but how does fluid dispense on the windshield?

If it’s from the wiper blade, does it disperse on the downward and upward strokes? Where is the fluid reservoir and line feed?

What are the thicker blacked out areas along the upper sides of the windshield?

The Canadian and Scandinavians have a couple solutions for winter.
1.) They can park in a garage.
2.) Tesla could program BAW to clear the windshield and hood of snow/ice every few minutes when parked. (I’m sure that would be inefficient)
3.) Driver can remove the BAW when parked (if it’s simple enough) and Tesla can superheat the driveshaft area for defrost for remounting.
me as a Canadian don't use windshield fluid for most of winter...it's too dang cold and the melting snow on a windshield defroster works better.... and snow works great too.

Imagine designing CT to semi final revisions, then to be asked to redesign the front end to better accommodate a “traditional wiper setup”. Unfortunately I think the big bad BAW is here to stay, unless another solution is found!
i love my BAW, and it'll love me.
