WTF!!! (PowerShare still can't be enabled)

Had PowerShare installed a month ago. Still no option to turn it on in truck or app. All software is up to date. Was on the fuqin phone with PowerShare support for 1 hr and 20 min. Their conclusion was that it’s a vehicle problem since there is no option to turn PowerShare on in the truck. Then spent another eternity on the phone with vehicle support. What do they say? That’s not something we can turn on. When asked who can, they replied, “we don’t know.” He then insisted on trying to talk to me about my power wall even though I explained to him PowerShare is separate from power wall. He wouldn’t believe me. It’s just ridiculous. He then referred me back to PowerShare support at which point I keeled over and passed out. This is the most clueless support dialogue I’ve ever had with anyone.

Does anyone here have any insights at all? Would appreciate it. Thanks.

can you give us your stats in terms of hardware/software versions on the car and powerwall and wall connector/uwc? there's another thread floating around, but I have powerwalls (PW2 I think unless I'm mistaken), a wall connector now linked to my account and updated, and was on the latest version of the ct software until this most recent update this weekend which I haven't received--and no dice, nothing shows up in my app or in the truck.

Truck and app are on latest updates of software. Updated truck this weekend. I don’t have a power wall, only gateway with PowerShare.

Wall connector version 24.12.51.

I was told that solar users are a few months out. I believe it has something to do with charging from solar and then also doing PowerShare.

Will be interested to see what you find out as I am in a similar situation myself. I reached out to the Powershare support and they sent me the latest update, however, that did not enable PowerShare. I have yet to reach out to Tesla support to see what else, if anything is needed.

That is odd because my CT has "Charge from Solar" with the 2024.14 software but no PowerShare even though my gateway, wall charger and CT are all on versions required for it to work

Charge on solar is a software thing they’ve had for some time (speaking with reference to my other teslas) and they finally enabled it in-app for CT, but my impression is it’s quite distinct from powershare so I’m not surprised the two aren’t activated together. In the same boat as you.

When someone asks for software version and you didn't include it in your initial post, please do them the favor of providing the actual release number. It is easily found in the vehicle or the very bottom of the first page in the phone.

"Latest Version" is a worthless response, as there really is no such thing. There are literally probably a dozen different "Latest Versions" in the Tesla fleet right now. And it is extremely probably that the latest version for your vehicle is different than mine.

My Cybertruck is on 2024.20.1. My Model Y is on 2024.3.25. My Model 3 is on 2024.14.9, They are all the "latest versions"

Same boat. What’s going on Tesla!?

Had my gateway installed in April… Although, the installer had to come back and recommission in May to get the app working. My truck is on 2024.20.1. No option to enable. No solar. Passed inspection.
