And that still doesn't change the fact that a horizontal image is more accurate representation of normal vision than a vertical image.As opposed to all the old farts in this forum that are awaiting their CTs, most social media types view Twitter on their phones so portrait mode makes more sense for them.
This 42 yr old with a photography degree hates that social media has retrained the world to see counter to the way their eyes actually work.
Peter Jackson tried to fight against the way vision works as well with high frame rate film in the hobbit, thinking "well if the brain processes vision at approximately 24fps.. then doubling that for filming and projection of the end product will be twice as good!"
See where that got him... A bunch of people who said it looked too unnatural and made them nauseous.
Btw, hardly an old fart comparatively in the context of this forum. More like a spring chicken!
