I believe they said at some point 500k/yr. Those 12 giga factories are for their goal of 20 mil/yr out of all their vehicles.

500k/yr Cybertruck might be output of single Cybertruck factory. Elon has said nothing that indicate they would not build a second factory if there was enough demand for Cybertruck.

My hope is a Cybertruck factory in Mexico to serve Mexico & export Cybertrucks to Central/South Americas, Australia, Africa.

I confess, I own the board. Now everyone send me $1
I too would like to claim to be the owner and would also like everyone to send one dollar.

To anyone willing to send one dollar I would also also like to claim to be Elon so send me one Bitcoin.

Got it on video, 3 separate times so far. Yanks the steering wheel right out of your hands and tries to make a hard turn down any tracks that aren't perpendicular to the road. Then after so many times it screws up in cruise control it locks you out and need to restart car to get cruise back. Not to mention options that musk has taken away since car was bought.
That's so weird. I've only had options added to my car in the last two years.

I can’t take any post seriously that suggests Autosteer yanks the wheel out of your hand.

Autosteer disengages with even moderate resistance. I have problems far more often with it disengaging when I don’t want it to.

Only option I’ve had removed was the Boombox features which was required by the government.

Agreed. Me as well with Autosteer disengaging easily. I have yet to have steering wheel yank from my hands in my 2017MS or
My 2020 M3LR. I have old vs new here and in no way has the steering wheel ever “yanked” out of my hands on either of the two models. Ever. Just thought I’d share this a well.

sorry had to edit. thumbs went into seizures.

Since you obviously cant read whats in the news, I pull the 47 seconds clip from the shareholders meeting so you can hear for yourself. PRICING WILL INCREASE.
So, the price increase is because its going to be a damn fine machine. Seems legit.

It's splitting hairs but i didn't hear the word increase.
I didn't either, but in contextual interpretation, that's what's being implied.

Based on what he said the price increase in because of inflation and it’s gonna be a better truck. For me it’s no big deal but I definitely like that it’s going to be a better truck as long as the range still stays at 500.

Better might be more than 500 miles... Remember the original estimate was 500+.

but....a big but.......none have been made.....none have been priced and we have not seen the "new" design yet......boy, what a surprise if it is completely different than what most people expect........remember reveal night?......it was great.....but nothing but speculation and delays since...regardless of pandemic or inflation......that did not stop the design boys I'll bet
You think it's not going to be like what they're currently developing and driving around?

dont know....elon said 4 weeks ago the design was completed after years of teasing drive-arounds from coast to coast......the BAW still has not seemed to be figured out......nor has mid-gate, door handles and other things.....I know people will say we have it, but have not seen any final design or prototype G with final changes.......to start in mid-2023, you would think we would have price and pictures

BAW is likely done.

Midgate is a non-feature. It was always a rumor at best with Musk saying “yeah that sounds cool” being the only remote confirmation it would exist.

Door handles are done. They even demoed those live.

We are 9 - 13 months out from mid 2023. I would expect features and final pricing to come when they do the launch party, likely 1-2 months prior to first deliveries. That would be consistent with other product launches.

Agreed.

The CyberTruck has well over 1 million prospective buyers on the waiting list. Supply & Demand can affect pricing.

The Rivian is now well into the $80,000 range. Ford Lightning Lariat and Platinum are over $80,000. Tesla has raised the price of the Model Y several times over the last 2 years, and many times since November 2019

My WAG (wild ass guess) is that $79,000 for a Dual CyberTruck would not be a crazy price. There are so many people on the waiting list, Tesla can sell everyone they build.

(Which means the Quad could sell for $99,000?)
You're one of the most reasonable people on this forum. I think your spot-on... I think the entry level will be in the $80,000 range and I think the quad motor top of the line will be well over 130. There's no way a top of the line cybertruck is less than an entry level model x
