"This episode is a brief introduction to our new limited YouTube series: The Cybertruck Competitive Comparison. In this series we will be releasing one episode per week for the next month. These videos will be longer in length than our previous daily Model Y videos. We will not be tearing these vehicles down but many of the engineers at Munro & Associates have been exposed to the torn down versions of these trucks already."

May 27 -- Episode 1: Body Structure Comparison

June 3 -- Episode 2: Suspension, Ride and Handling

June 10 -- Episode 3: Off-Roading and Driveline

Tesla is reinventing the wheel so to speak with CT. I liked his comparison to the Honda Ridgeline which uses an endoskeleton design which the body panels, or skin, are attached to. The CT on the other hand uses an exoskeleton where the SS panels are the actual structure that he predicts will be TIG welded together by robots.

Maybe its because I've always associated Munro with the mask but I'm glad he wears it. That mustache he's hiding is the worst. Seems like a nice, down to earth kind of guy though.

So there's nothing subtle with the Cybertruck. It's in your face, whether you like it or not.
He eluded to stainless being difficult to work with, It's just like this design, Brutal. Extremely heavy, super stiff, and hard. Stainless eats drill bits and tools like crazy. I love it, and hate it at the same time.

? NOT looking forward to the yearly "highway weight tax" I'll have to pay on it.

I saw somewhere that they would probably use water jets to cut it, but it sure does eat any kind of blade.

Skip to 12:15 if you don't need a lesson on how 4WD truck drivetrains work...

Key take away: What it takes to "turn Sandy's crank"

I agree with Sandy. The CT “pickup” is in a different category than an F-150, Silverado or Ram pickup.
