i noticed that angle too, but as the vid changes angle to square on, that appearance narrowsJust eyeballing, seems ~3mm SS is not just the doors.

But this IS our hobbyYou all need a hobby…..![]()
Wouldn’t they use summon feature? Otherwise, just climb out the window and walk along the trailer’s fender wells. You can also winch it in. Most people with transport trailers throw in a floor mounted winch up front.Looks like the air shocks are definitely there, but this video does nothing to solve the mystery of the driver getting out! Still hopeful for a mid-gate!
37" is pretty bigThay steering knuckle bolt looks close to the top of the wheel. If it's like the MY this will limit increasing the wheel diameter you can put on there. You could maybe squeeze on a 37"?
Also I think that is 3mm SS for the rear fenders. If the fender doesn't open for sail storage then you might as well make it structural. Plus it needs to be fairly tough seeing it completely exposed to knocking stuff against it when the tailgate is open.

True but WAY more than my X's (265/45 R20).Thay steering knuckle bolt looks close to the top of the wheel. If it's like the MY this will limit increasing the wheel diameter you can put on there. You could maybe squeeze on a 37"?

except recently disoriented to learn that the entire 3mm mythology stems from a single 2019/20 tweet by Musk, which itself wasn’t unambiguous about whether he was talking about the whole car.The hood, door, and rear fender/sails all seem to be the same thickness (~3mm). Tesla has not indicated that they have moved away from 3mm stainless. I don’t think we should assume anything other than the most likely case is that all panels will be the same.
Almost a truism for many aspects of CT lore by this point.except recently disoriented to learn that the entire 3mm mythology stems from a single 2019/20 tweet by Musk, which itself wasn’t unambiguous about whether he was talking about the whole car.
'EXOSKELETON' is and always was___they'll be talking 'bout it for years.Just eyeballing, seems ~3mm SS is not just the doors.
