I just want to point out something... We have no idea how old this frame is. It could easily be an early rendition that has been updated 10 ways to Sunday.
Maybe there's a midgate, maybe there isn't. Maybe there's a rolldown window, maybe there isn't . Maybe you'll get married and dance the funky chicken at your 50th wedding anniversary. But, trust me about the sunscreen.

have to admit, I see where you’re coming from, but I also understand where @JBee is coming from

That said, what you’re describing I believe can only possible with two panels: the rear quarter panels. The hood, tailgate, and doors are out for obvious reasons. The front QPs don’t really attach to the casting enough or in spots that they are relevant.

And this sort of makes since from perspective of ā€˜truck stuff’ - the rigidity is needed in the rear, not the front.

And as for the two rear quarterpanels, I’ve previously put @JBee into just barely enough of a box to sort of kind of admit that it might be possible there depending on how and where exactly the rear QPs are attached

Until there’s a tear down of those rear QPs, really one guess is as good as any other.
We will see.

Wait, you can't be saying that no force is transmitted through the doors... Say it ain't so! (maybe not the primary path but still... if blastwaves can transit air gaps...

The body is an exoskeleton, separately so is the door, and the window motor inside the door...

basically it's exoskeletons all the way down

ā€œI’m telling you, what’s *not* an exoskeleton?ā€

I cannot tell from the images that Joe took whether or not there is a midgate. How is it definitive? I do not have a dog in this fight, I am just going by what I can see and what little I know about midgates (i.e., seen one).

I spy with my little eye a symmetical firewall, I’m sure there were pictures of the firewall with holes only in the left hand side and none for a right hand drive version ??.
Hm.... I thought firewalls were supposed to keep fire from traversing to the other side of the wall... How does that work if there are so many large holes in the "firewall"?

Also... with that many holes, anyone want to start an argument for a passthrough from the cabin to the frunk?
Trolls be trolls sometimes.
