Worth noting nothing was leaked. This is a list someone compiled using other things people have said/guessed.

Also,Tow rating might be 11,000 on dual but more power comes more ability, thus rating for tri would increase.

Nov 30 can’t come fast enough.
I know. Then what will we argue with each other about?

Completely false. Interior dimensions, specific weight, etc. has never been released or leaked. Same leaker had never before seen pics of the outlet/ rear motors

For those curious, here is where the Interior Numbers Fall for the Silverado EV RTS.

nice

throw the hummer in there for a laugh

meanwhile, the real tale-of-the-tape will come with the all-in cargo area, and sub-set exterior cargo area

this is where the Lightning and CT will blow away Rivian and any ICE

Lightning will come in a good 10-15ft3 greater than Cybertruck (impressive for CT being 8” shorter), and the CT will come in a good 40-45ft3 greater than a Tacoma (very impressive for CT having ~similar external footprint), and a good 60ft3 more than the Rivian**

**I ignore Rivian’s online claims of 115ft3 of cargo area, since they counting in that total every conceivable nook and cranny, like door pockets, etc. - I assume they all have door pockets etc.

EDIT TO ADD:

Have bolted up a compare (in heat map) of interior dimensions:

As suspected (by some) for a while, interior dimensions come in nearest to a Chevy Avalanche, but with width at hips (determining seat width) being comparable to a Toyota Tacoma - which explains the lack of 6th seat, but also portends a rather narrow rear seat that is "5 passengers" in name along the lines of a Tacoma (though CT's better shoulder width will help a touch).

EDIT TO ADD A 2ND TIME: ADDED MODEL Y AS TESLA CONSUMER REFERENCE

CT Interior Dimensions Heat Map From Leak.jpg

Next is a heat map that essentially demonstrates the design thesis of the Cybertruck:

  • *nearly* full-sized BEV truck cargo area,
  • *nearly* mid-sized footprint/agility (but an ~F150 wheelbase, mitigated by 4WS)
  • somewhat *better* than mid-sized interior volume, at least in terms of rear seat legroom, but basically mid-sized seat width

EDIT TO ADD A 2ND TIME: ADDED THE HEAT MAP OF EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS (note Rivian height is a bit slippery to get nailed down, but height I view as really a nearly irrelevant stat for adaptive vehicles)

Revised CT Exterior Dimensions From Leak.jpg
So 2.4kw outlets, that should be enough to power a recreational vehicle through the 220v, right? What about amperage limits on the outlets?

you’re not quite following the thread of occurrences here

this is not a list of things other people have said/guessed

and also, more power does not = more tow rating (just look at the Rivian if you need only one example)

you could start by asking questions rather than confused assertions

agree Nov 30 can’t come fast enough

Is this an optical illusion or bad camera angle?

Joe T's daily fly over Giga TX's parking lot includes CT photos. Zooming in on one truck caught me eye. It appears as of the whole CT Body is off center? From the back of the cabin to the end of the truck bed.

Thoughts?

I think it’s humerous that we have people on here arguing about rumors on the internet vs possibilities of vehicles yet to be sold, oops, released dang manufactured uh oh tested dammit, designed yet. Some people have a bad case of “I read it on the net, it must be true!”

We’re close enough to the official event, I’m not passing judgement on anything until it’s been released.

Another example is the Silverado EV Work Truck, their higher tier model tows less.

There have been zero official specs made available, whole lot of jumping to conclusions going on.

Pluses and minuses to all of this... So, the CT is not as impressive as many thought - including lack of truck like range (not 500 / very limited towing) and the specs released today are also let downs. That's only half the equation though. Good news = CT price must be the impressive news yet to come! I'll take these limitations at the great price news sure to come!

If that doesn't come...well...you know why I've already sold my TSLA stock...

Which makes sense. Towing weight generally has to do with vehicle class and weight distribution on the wheels. If a vehicles higher model is more weight due to heavier batteries or heavier components but it stays in the same vehicle class, they must reduce towing or other capacities to stay within the class. It really comes down to road and bridge design.
