This is the way.

The actual bed size is like... 5'5" or so guesstimate. The slanted bed "head" is diminishing the length a bit.

… don’t get me wrong, I’ve slept in some weird/tight places in my time. … but at least my bed is longer than 5.5’ (sleep-usable), and there’s not in my face a ceiling ~6” (if head at tailgate) to ~15” (if head at bulkhead) away
When lying down in back of the CT I bet there will be more distance to the ceiling than when I was sleeping on the top bunk of an aircraft carrier.

I mean the OG bed was the same situation, it’s really about 5ish inches shorter, not a ft.

they’ve always been announcing the bed floor , not the “open air” bed which we have had long long threads about.

Looking at the Light bar in the bed area, I wonder if hauling dirt/bark/gravel will be a bit of a pain? (risk of damaging the lighting).

you dudes must be small of frame

that, or the photo lacks a sense of scale for you to appreciate the sort of coffin you’re considering sleeping in

don’t get me wrong, I’ve slept in some weird/tight places in my time. Hell, every night I sleep in what feels like the rightmost 10” of a king sized bed (remainder the bed my wife’s dominion)

but at least my bed is longer than 5.5’ (sleep-usable), and there’s not in my face a ceiling ~6” (if head at tailgate) to ~15” (if head at bulkhead) away
Have you never slept in a car?

The model Y camping homies are gonna be living in the vault.

That angle makes it hard to tell if the midgate is going to fold forwards or backwards... ?
Maybe the midgate can only be activated if the tonneau cover is closed? I was hopeful for a midgate, because at 6 feet tall I will not be able to lie down in the vault. I’m doubt there’s a midgate though, because that’s where the tonneau cover lives when it’s open.

The tonneau cover is closed, so the lighting in the bed is only from the bed light and the red light on the ground is from the light on the tailgate.

Sorry I am unable to delete the duplicate image. There are only 3 unique pictures.
That first picture is pretty kickass.
