I'm on my second trip in to service for recalls. Free supercharging would be nice for us we have had to deal with more then new buyers. But that is Teslas decision we bought without it.
Someone on this post needs to start a petition. I would but I don’t know how. At my age I’m lucky to be able to drive my CT. My third visit to SC is a week from tomorrow

System and 'by you' are of course different subsets which will have different results.

Also, most people generally charge 'not near you' (and also 'not near their home', either, so not sure about your choice of data points.

Also, most people charge at home, however, none of this matters when I’m arguing that the $2.5K voucher is less valuable than lifetime supercharging for some.

The best chance is for someone to ask the question directly during an event or investor relation questions.
Ideally they would allow a one time purchase of free supercharging for owners. That would create a nice boost of revenue.

It is pretty much linear with level 2 charging.
Yeah, I'm not sure if there'd be any taper at all on level 2, certainly not at anything less than 98-99%. I moved the slider up to 100% trying to finish my breakfast on a roadtrip and was still at 49kW at 95%.

Exactly. Free supercharging for life was told was going to go away many times as on offer. Only to stay on forever for S and X. That was only an offer for a second for performance model 3 owners.

So they took it away. Now it is back for the S. Back for clearing this or clearing that. Tesla uses it's reasons. Just realize it can all change tomorrow forever to be back next quarter or next year. So to say it's never going to happen again is kind of what many people used to say for a long time with Tesla.
Tesla did offer FUSC transfer to any new vehicles for a very short time in I think Q4 2023 or Q1 2024, so was possible to transfer from an older S/X vehicle to a new Model 3/Y for a bit.

Ok. Let’s not make it about me. Here’s where you live: ?

$0.25/kWh near SD

That’s only after 11pm. Looks like your display is showing $0.43/kwh as the current rate. Even if we just weigh the rates for each tier based on the hours per day that they are available and ignore the fact that it’s not practical to go to a supercharger around midnight, the average is still around $0.45/kwh.

Yeah, I'm not likely to charge in Santa Cruz unless there's a storm. More likely to charge on the highway like that.

And I don't know about you, but I prefer to travel off-peak.

Not practical for "some" people :p. I'm definitely one of those folks who would go crazy and sleep in their truck for good pricing even though I now have FUSC, and more solar/powerwalls than I possibly need...but I'm special in that way :p.

BTW, my $0.30 / KWh comment previously assumed typical across the USA (since supercharging is mainly intended for road tripping anyways and home charging is preferred). I also sent you the SDGE EV rate which is significnatly less than $0.30 / kWh

I suspect given Tesla announcement today of less than expected deliveries especially in their high end vehicles will cause some additional buying stimulus for cybertrucks . So maybe all new buyers may get some sort of deal … let’s wait and see ..
