I forget what CT rated range is, but real life range has got to be about ½ rated range. I suppose if I were only looking at starting from 80% real range is 125-130 miles.

That should definitely be looked at. Mine shows 259 or 260 at 80% and seems fairly accurate with mixed driving.

Mine's still at 255 as well (which works out to 318 miles at 100%). Over a year old and around 10,000 miles.

that would be awesome. I can almost make it to airport and back with current battery, but not quite. Definitely not if leaving video enabled sentry mode active…that takes 20% of battery leaving on from Friday morning to Monday afternoon.

I totally don’t understand the rating for range. It is 85 miles each way for me to the anirport and somehow the 210 mile range at 71% charge isn’t enough to make it there and back according to the navigation system. Even at 100% battery at departure the system still plans to supercharge during the 170 mile trip.

To me, the cyberbeast planned range is about 150-160 miles assuming 100% charge, roughly half the rated range. Planned range seems reasonably accurate for actual range when I make the journey…maybe off by 1 or 2 battery percentage points…

There are so many factors in addition to speed, acceleration, temp, terrain, crossbars, how much payload you’re carrying…

78 mph. That’s faster than I would choose to drive, but CT FSD is more aggressive than I am.

According to energy app, wind was a factor both directions, about 3%. It’s fairly downhill one way, estimated at 43% to get there and 50% to get back.

No payload other than sub 50 lb luggage and sundry items of maybe another 100 lbs (windshield sun reflector, dog rear seat and door protectors, tow straps, bins and metal divider in back, some firearm stuff, etc).

Temperature was roughly 50-90F, lower end for the morning trip to airport and higher end coming home in afternoon.

They said they are battery constrained in the last investor call. Not sure these packs are the best allotment for a constrained resource.

Elon has stated several times the range/battery capacity is based on your bladder. Which is assumed to be 300 miles before you need to pull over and pee.

I for one, think this is a very poor association to make as a deciding factor for the amount Kw capacity and range to build into a vehicle.

And guess what is on the front page.
A CT, pulling a large trailer, on the highway....................with 362mi of range directly under it.
Background looks like the SW so assume 75-80MPH posted speed, that truck in the picture is getting 110miles of range from 100-0% and most people's bladder can last more than 80-100mins before having to charge for 60mins.

No air suspension on long range Cybertruck.
Which means it may start with an elevated back end that lowers with load to be more level.

Long Range 362 + extender 500 miles? Will Long Range allow for the upgrade- it better.

I think most articles or videos early on from the first influences given access were told 50 kWh and that is what my below table is based on (see EPA column). Kyle OOS recent video thinks 40 kWh.

You might be experiencing phantom drain or if you have Sentry mode on all the time, it drains about 10% a night.
