Wind, Bearing, or Coolant Noise?

I've not heard anything new on this - at all. Anyone? I'm so bugged by the sound. I'd kill for a solution

I'm working on it right now by adding sound insulation to the dash area, will post videos once it's done

My CT is in for the 4th time for the noise. Also have delamination of the driver's side rear quarter panel. No progress on the repairs yet; truck has been in the same spot for a couple days since I dropped it off. Did put in the service ticket that I wanted to initiate a buy-back if the front motor noise wasn't corrected. So not sure if it hasn't moved cause they're considering it, waiting for replacement parts, they're busy, or...

Some of the insulation under the super cowl of my truck was damaged. So I added sound insulation over the damaged/missing parts. Didn't make a difference in my case.

I'm still in the same boat as the sounds you're all hearing/having as well. Waiting to see best results. I’ve got the same noise as well. I took it in for service and was told the noise is present in all CT’s. They let me test drive 3 others they all made the same sound.

The only problem with that explanation is that I've had my truck for 2 years and for most of that time the noise was not present. It suddenly appeared about 4 months ago. The loaner I got from the service center last time did not make the noise either

Same. Noise in my truck is temperature dependent; makes way more noise when cold. Started hearing it this winter. Last winter, went to Yosemite when it was snowing and my truck did not make this noise. Also, the loaner I currently have doesn't make the same noise.

They’re replacing the motor. Pickup is estimated early next week. Waiting for parts to arrive.

They replaced my FDU 3 times. Problem returned after 1k miles each time. They mentioned new motor design might fix it. I requested buy back and they didn’t push back.

Already did. 4th visit, but 1st time replacing the FDU.

Is there a time or milage limit as far as asking for a buyback? I'm at 17,995 miles and have owned mine since 4/24. They have no other options for me to fix this noise and I'm tired of hearing it

I don’t believe there is if it’s a lemon. They’ll deduct the mileage.

Already did. 4th visit, but 1st time replacing the FDU.

What was the PN of your last FDU?

I can’t find the part number on the invoice . I think it was 193something is the old one and 194 is new? I remember 4 at the end is newest version. They sent my 2nd FDU to R&D. Never heard back about that one.

Same issue here. Took it in for service and they had me drive another Cybertruck on the lot. It had the same sound.

i personally think it sounds cool to hear the powerful motor winding...

The winding noise of the drive units isn't the sound we are referring to. I actually like that sound just like you. We are discussing a different sound which is super duper annoying and sounds like some kind of leaky valve or bearing noise. Very hard to pinpoint
