Well, it’s my turn now. Plugged in last night and would only charge at 24 amps. Made an appointment and got confirmation within ten minutes.
How long is it taking to get parts and once they take my truck, how long is it taking for them to fix?
This is VERY inconvenient as I will have to drive one county over to charge now. I wouldn’t even own an EV all these years if I couldn’t charge at home.
And of course Tesla putting a service center near me has been cancelled three times.

How long?

Yes.

I’ve been waiting 2 months already. Service appt in app says June 22, probably won’t have the truck anymore by then (trading in on ‘26 MY Performance because Tesla offered me payoff on the truck)

I had also just gotten a trade in estimate but hadn’t made any decisions yet

I’ve seen short as 2 weeks as long as 3 months wildly dependent on where you live. Check your local lemon laws/buyback, that may be a route to go to get more than trade in/close to what you paid.

The fix should be less than a day. Book time is 4.2 hours.

Mine failed really early. The service center said that they hadn't seen the issue come up in any other Cybertruck. It took about a week for the part to arrive for the fix. I hope my second PCS failure occurs under warranty. 😬

I am considering doing the same… what concerns me is how long for the PCS to fail again… I love the truck but PCS, no range extender, not a fan of the huge wiper blade…
Did you pull the trigger on your MY performance?

Mine took about a month, Memphis told me June 10 before they would have the part. After a week of no free surcharging I changed service centers to Little Rock, they got me in right away took about 5 days to get the part and 3 days to fix they had to order additional parts once they got into it. Wasn’t too bad at all aside from being out of warranty and fitting the 6k bill. Although now I have a year warranty on everything they replaced. So that makes me feel a lil better.

Has anyone with a 2025 or newer Cybertruck experienced a PCS failure?

I've been whistling through the graveyard on this issue thinking I'm safe with a Feb 2026 build but ... no confirmation from Tesla other than an extended warranty on the PCS components. That could indicate they have solved the problem and they want to assure purchasers with a longer warranty or, they "think" the problem is solved and only time will tell. I think the latter is the most likely scenario.

My problem is the not just the low voltage charging (Supercharging only would be acceptable in the short term) but the complete shutdown of the powertrain. I've got some long trips planned this summer and fall and don't want to have to think about having a bricked vehicle at a most inopportune time thousands of miles from home.

Mine was charging at 24A two days ago. I guess that's the sign I'm about to go, even if it went back to 48A today. I am going to make an appointment once I figure out a day I can get someone to take me to work.
