The powershare via certified installer isn't worth it. They will come back with a quote of $3k+ for a few hours of work that any electrician can do for less than $100/hr

Many electricians these days charge $400/hr BTW. Especially if you aren’t shopping around so it depends on your market.

I build houses, and I pay nowhere near $100/hr. I don't know any that charge anywhere near $400 though. Sucks not to know anyone and own a house.

That's absolutely insane to pay $400/hr to an electrician. I don't even know many attorneys around that bill that high. You must be wealthy

Sucks about the 225v main panel. I have a 400+ main line that splits to three internal sub panels. No real way for powerShare for us. Would have been nice too.

Powershare (or Powerwalls) can be connected to one of the sub panels, assuming those are 225A or less.
For full (anytime) backup you would need at least 3 Powerwalls with Powershare supplementing one of them.

If your loads are partitioned by priority, you can use less PWs and leave one or two subpanels un-backed up.

Done by floor mostly. Likely not worth the cost given the distribution of my hvacs and water heaters. Not my electrical design.

Get a fill out the info again with qmerit. I did the survey with no results too.
After filled out the details again with qmerit I got assigned a local certified installer and tHIs week they are coming to see my house and give me a quote.
Don't wait just do it again.

You can get a quote from Smart Charge America. They have installed more Powershare than anyone as that is who Tesla uses for all their testing. They have all the hardware ready to install.

I called just yesterday to ask about it. They told me to give it 30 days and call back if I still don’t have it in my email (I put my FSCT order in early February and took delivery late May).
