Took delivery back in March and have been told gateway was backordered since then. Called today and they told me a hold has been placed on any new installs by Tesla of the equipment, something with the utility company but they really don't know. They are just in limbo, I wonder if it is related to this. (in CA) Have not received anything from Tesla about credit etc.

Wall Connector would need purchased with the credit.

I have taken delivery of my CT AWD 35 days ago, but before that, I did refuse to pay crazy amount for the Power backup system installation. I do believe I should get that $2500.00 credit for the Tesla Store.
But, so far no email or any communication regarding this deal.

I took delivery April 30. No word on the credit yet

I got the delivery in May end. Got email from Qmerit for survey, uploaded all pictures of the utility meter, panel, a/c units , house bla bla bla ... got some 3rd part vendor assigned for the project ....

now what next ... I dont think I want any power wall or anything like that ... I just need 2500 $ voucher to buy all CT accessories .... how/what to do ? Anyone with purchases complete ?

I took delivery of my CT AWD in May. I had a HORRIBLE experience with the installer Tesla paired me with (Qmerit is apparently not involved with my PowerShare installation). The installer disaster began back in February, but we were able to reach an agreement in May, just after I took delivery of my CT. I paid 100% of the installation quote on June 3rd, so it felt a little ominous that I got an email from Tesla on June 4th, informing me of an update to the PowerShare installation process which, of course, now involves a voucher for the equipment.

So that's where I'm at now - awaiting the voucher and/or word from the installer about how to proceed. The email explaining the updated process DOES SAY that the voucher will come in the form of another email "within the next few weeks if you have already taken delivery" - and that was 9 days ago. If you haven't already taken delivery, it says only that you'll receive your voucher after taking delivery - no mention of timing.

Not much help, I know, but hopefully those of us who have already taken delivery of our CTs will be seeing vouchers in the next week or two. As for those who haven't taken delivery yet, hopefully the trailblazers will have helped Tesla streamline the process somewhat.

Interesting. I just had Tesla solar/powerwalls installed and the crew said my regular wall connector charger would be sufficient for the PowerShare capabilities in a future software update. Just need to know whether or not I’ll need to purchase the universal wall connector.

A Gen3 Wall Connector if you have powerwall and a Gen 2 Gateway will work. You only need the Universal Wall Connector if you don't have powerwalls.

Theoretically, you get the $2,500 store credit (for single purchase of one or more items), but the terms have been shifting around so it may depend on your order date.

Yes. If you check the model name on the box, it includes the V2L designation.
