Mine is now completely out. Started yesterday as well. Will either drift wildly with no rhyme or reason or stay “stuck” in one location. Started out not as much of a problem (I assumed it was losing GPS satellite lock or something) and now has dramatically degraded to be completely unusable

From the owners manual.

Power Cycling the Vehicle

You can power cycle Cybertruck if it demonstrates unusual behavior or displays a nondescript alert.
  1. Shift into Park.
  2. On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Safety > Power Off.
  3. Wait for at least two minutes without interacting with the vehicle. Do not open the doors, touch the brake pedal, touch the touchscreen, etc.
  4. After two minutes, open the door to wake the vehicle.
I will try this later today to see if it fixes my problem. I can't use my cruise control because it keeps slowing way down when the speed limit changes where it thinks I am. It's a good thing I don't have Tesla insurance or it would think I'm doing 70mph in a 30mph zone for quite a ways. Not sure if that factors into Tesla insurance rates or not.

Same here, started yesterday evening. Reboot, Power Cycle not fixing

Looks like we're all in the same boat expect the fix will hit us all simultaneously.

Thanks for confirming it's not just me!

What a strange issue! Crazy everyone has a gps issue at the same time, wonder how many trucks it’s happening too!! Anyone talking about it on Reddit forums or anywhere else??

Same, started happening yesterday for me then it got better but it’s still inaccurate. I put a service request in yesterday for tomorrow but I highly doubt the service center can do anything about it . I think this has to do with Tesla gps network itself rather than an issue with the car. I had the same exact thing happen a couple of years ago in my m3 and it fixed itself a couple of days later.
I doubt it’s hardware since there’s a few of us having it happen simultaneously.

Had the issue on Sunday driving from Melbourne Florida to Jacksonville Florida. It ended up having my car 20 miles offshore in the ocean near Flagler beach while the car was parked in jacksonville. I shutdown truck, reset the screen and then left plugged in over night. The Tesla App matches the fake location of the truck in the ocean, but by the morning the app showed the correct location, but the truck showed the same location in the ocean. Once I started driving, it fixed itself within driving .5 miles and had been fine since…

How do you know it's wrong? Quantum mechanics says you can be in two places at once ?‍♂
Most Cybertruck owners are not photons.

...not just the American gps ones.
There are only American GPS satellites. Their signals don't differentiate from who's using them.

Used my navigation for the first time in awhile today and had the "pointed wrong direction issue" (stuck nw, regardless of actual direction) and unusable navigation because I wasn't where it thought I was.

I've been having a situation in FSD on my Y. It would steer 2 or 3 feet off of center between the lane markers on a two lane undivided rural highway. it was driving onto the shoulder. Is it related?

We were driving in the truck when suddenly the GPS location drifted away from our actually location, snapped back, then did it again. It kept drifting further and further away from our actual location. And now is permanently heating the truck is located 2 miles away from here. What gives?
Mine started yesterday, it thinks I'm 40 miles or so from where I am, was hoping it would fix itself overnight, but it didn't. I will soft reboot when I get home tonight to see if that fixes it. Otherwise great truck with no other issues!
I actually like driving to and from work now. I hate being there, but the drive there and home is sure enjoyable!
In other Tesla cars, there is a screen in the Service Mode that tells you how many GPS satellites you are currently connected to (ie. 3+ for triangulation of coord; often 4+ for elevation). I didn't see it with these Service Mode screen captures but likely there.

FYI, I've lost the GPS in my Tesla Model X for more than a day before. I schedule an appointment but ended up disconnecting the low-voltage (12/16/48) battery negative for 2 minutes to let all 'subsystems' stop; hooked it back up and wait for all systems to restart; and my GPS worked again (then canceled appt).
