Better Media Play VIA USB, one that remember the file it was playing and where in the files it was. This is so common in every radio I had back 20 years now. Can't believe we can't have a Better player here. AND the Blue Tooth via my phone has all the same issues so that is not a solution. I listen to things that are not Streaming and do NOT subscriptions to every service under the sun. Also can't play video files in Park from USB, I have tried MP4,MOV, MKV...Nothing....Why not?
I would like a button on the APP to Start Battery recondition NOW and not have to set a schedule, it a pain in Axx.
Lighten up on the "Camera is blocked and clean it" messages, its about 5 everyday now. I cleaned them and it does not go away......
I think you can come up with a replacement Wiper cheaper than $75, considering you can buy 2 24" for wipers for $20 or less. Start Mass Producing them, you decided to use get someone to aftermarket it before next year please.
Better help for people who live with the Truck in Cold weather. I have got my truck 11/20 and all I have ever seen is the snow flake on the display, I know you produce these in warm weather area, but a lot of people live in the snow belt for winter.

Things I would like to see on next version of Cybertruck

Back window rolls down or comes out and can be 'stored' somewhere (roof?) so air can flow to bed of the truck

ALL camera's with 2-finger ZOOM option! Especially the rear/front ones.

Self closing doors

Built in air compressor with hose long enough to reach all the tires

Mudflaps on ALL wheels and made of material that won't get ripped off when off roading

Show blind spot cameras in addition to rear view when backing up.

Make backup camera not as much fish eye - also allow zooming

GRAB BARS to either help those short folks or to just hold onto when needed

5 way seatbelt option for front seats for off roading

Add second camera option for the TOP or corner of bed so you can still get a view if tailgate is down.

Washer for rear camera(s)

REAL Truck backup sounds!! You know, the one that goes BEEP, BEEP, BEEP... something even the older folks can hear

As we're past Cybertruck's first (or fifth) birthday, we'd like to welcome all the non-Foundation Series owners who are just finding us. We welcome your energy, curiousity and ... wheel covers. Serious about those wheel covers, most of us don't have them yet.

As we expand the Cyberverse, what is everyone looking forward to in Year Two of our cyberlord? Here is my starter list:

  • Summon - dumb summon, smart summon. Really, I'll take any summon.
  • FSD - the real one, not the ram-rodded port of the S3XY models since we don't like crashing through center medians on left-hand turns, having mid-turn corrections on right-hand turns, tailgating frightened highway motorists or slamming the brakes hard and late when coming into red lights.
  • CyberSUV - I've never owned a truck, and I treat my CT as a five-seat SUV and it does an admirable job. Sure, incredible (non-weatherproof) trunk space for days but that rearview mirror...c'mon. If Rivian can roll out the R1S within 12-18 months of the R1T, which they could and did, we should be looking at a CyberSUV with four doors and three rows of seats no later than mid next year. it will arrive, and it will be marvelous. Besides, we know Tesla prefers to make two vehicles per platform - S/X,3/Y. Heck, even GM managed this with the Hummer EV truck and Hummer EV SUV. Don't tell me Tesla can't do something that Rivian and GM have already done.
  • Megacharging - no, we don't need a full megawatt at Superchargers for .0001 seconds, but getting 500kw at a v4 and holding 150kw through 65-70% would be really nice

What else do you want to see in Year Two? New t-shirt designs? Optimus doing mobile service visits?
Range. More range. There is room in the battery box for 46x120 cells and still enough safety venting space.

Camera linked rear view mirror screen that doesn't require any wiring. This should be easy given that the truck already has remote camera view.

Bull bar winch kit. Hard shell for spare tire.

Actual rear view camera (monitor at rear view mirror location) with support for another camera connection at the trailer hitch.

Less sensitivity in throttle for first 10% in Beast Mode.

Starlink support

Smooth edges of all panels from factory, especially those you can touch.

Walk up voice commands. The car unlocks as you approach, why not "open frunk" as a command or "open tailgate" (requires microphones, I know).

Simplify playing FLAC from USB and restart from last song.

Fix FSD lane centering and speed/follow distance.

not completely related, but we have a huge gen 2 wishlist posted a few times this year, thought some of the simple items could be moved into the 2025 model

ill repost the list and note items easily moved to 2025
CYBERTRUCK GEN WISHLISTS

Gen 1.5 (2025) – Easy Changes for Tesla

  • Polish off all know vulnerable stainless edges.
  • New turning view, rear view plus turning view combined, side by side.
  • Nav manual route building and saving to favorites/routes.
  • Adjustable sensitivity of the auto high beam headlights. But aren’t we moving away from high beam to directed pixels?
  • Ability to have bed lights on while driving.
  • In vehicle UI with Grok that can be remotely processed, answering questions. Save the computer for FSD, no local Grok necessary. Use Grok for voice assistance?
  • Better cross traffic, blind spot warnings/notifications.
  • Grab bars, as accessory is fine but need factory mount points.
  • Auto door open on walk up, only certain driver/key profiles.
  • AWD boost upgrade option, 0-60 4.1 sec becomes 3.5 sec.
  • Racing level braking kit: Tesla orderable rotors, pad and fluid.
  • Alert while in drive for anything moving within 36 inches of the truck.
  • Basic autopilot.
  • Fix FSD lane centering and speed/follow distance.
  • Tesla accessory for Starlink in vehicle mount. Power ready, installed like light bar.
  • Truck has external microphones, take voice commands for specific profiles from the outside such as flash, open frunk, etc.
  • ALL camera's with 2-finger ZOOM option! Especially the rear/front ones. Reset back to normal after time and no touch.
  • REAL Truck backup sounds!! You know, the one that goes BEEP, BEEP, BEEP... something even the older folks can hear
  • Better Media Play VIA USB, one that remember the file it was playing and where in the files it was. This is so common in every radio I had back 20 years now. Can't believe we can't have a Better player here. AND the Blue Tooth via my phone has all the same issues so that is not a solution. • Better help for people who live with the Truck in Cold weather. I have got my truck 11/20 and all I have ever seen is the snow flake on the display, I know you produce these in warm weather area, but a lot of people live in the snow belt for winter.
  • Show blind spot cameras in addition to rear view when backing up.

Gen 2 (2026+) Long Term

  • Improve the charging curve to similar to the new Porsche Taycan which stays close to 250 kw for over 60% of the charge cycle (maybe we have to wait for a full V4 front and backend supercharger), I have not seen the newest, best curve for the CT
  • Color changing DRL lightbar, similar to the interior ambient lighting.
  • Move window switches forward on each door arm rest for avg arm length.
  • Power outlet in the frunk. Heck, while you're at it add a USBC port as well.
  • Speakers in the frunk. Ultimate frunkgater!
  • Rear underseat storage cubby should be standard not optional.
  • Wireless phone chargers in the back seat armrest. Clears up the cable clutter for the back seaters.
  • Rear seat cup holders below the rear screen, rear center console.
  • Built-in step on the corners of the bumpers. I think most other pickups have these.
  • Footstep ahead of the rear wheel to reach into the bed over the sail panel. I picture something similar to what was on some older military aircraft where there's a spring loaded cover for the step that stays flush with the body until you jam your foot into it.
  • Bed light that's at the rear of the roof. The existing bed lights are nice, but would be good to have one that's higher up as well.
  • CyberSUV. Would be an absolute home run. I'm not really a truck guy, don't really need a truck, but I'm carting around this big ol' bed all of the time. A CyberSUV would just killlllllll!!!
  • tailgate auto power close
  • tailgate step built in with vertical support bar, flip out step like GM
  • Modify rear window for lowering/opening, larger size and lower position for better visibility into the bed. This facilitates open/close/controllable duct work into the bed, to permit heat and AC to enter an closed bed when sleeping or basecamp.
  • change review view mirror into larger rear view video/mirror appliance
  • 2025 4680s Gen 4, AWD AT tires, range improves to 440 miles, Gen 5 4680 2026 we get 500 miles.
  • Washer on rear camera.
  • Enable side mirror removal ability and option to purchase add real side towing mirrors.
  • Fix the body shelf in front of the head light beam to prevent debris, snow from blocking the light.
  • Fix the charging port or provide a CCS adapter that fits.
  • Provide an option for a front bench seat so that the CT can fit crew of six, better when as a work truck.
  • For the two seat front, fix the charging pad for phone cooling similar to what Porsche is providing in the new Taycan.
  • Install a HUD or small screen behind the steering wheel, like the S and X.
  • Create a pseudo mid wall opening to permit heat and AC to enter an closed bed when sleeping or basecamp.
  • Add aux video feed option to display on screen (for towing). Many aftermarket towing cameras use 802.11 (wifi) protocol so this could even be a potential software update on existing models.
  • Correct the Tourneau cover to ensure waterproof, need to protect our tools.
  • As an upgrade or accessory, add heavier duty upper control arms.
  • Some want Steam hardware option for high end gaming.
  • USBC powered ports, under center dash as to not use OBDII port for power of dash accessories.
  • Rear seats, slight auto recline.
  • Starlink ground station and antenna factory installed and integrated.
  • Ceiling side, handles for getting out or at least anchor points for after market
  • Hotter and colder seat conditioning
  • Headlights that are brighter, matrix?
  • Headlights better in snow, no shelf, heater melter built in
  • Actual rear view camera (monitor at rear view mirror location) with support for another camera connection at the trailer hitch.
  • Spring loaded, separating mud flaps.
  • Simplify playing FLAC from USB and restart from last song.
  • Self, soft closing doors
  • 5 way seatbelt option for front seats for off roading
  • Add second camera option for the TOP or corner of bed so you can still get a view if tailgate is down.

Quick release mounting points so that you can switch rack and cross bar configuration without tools.

Since I'm also on my second Model X, I would like to see the CyberTruck incorporate the self-opening door hardware. It's frustrating that I can't be a gentleman by opening the passenger door from the panel.
Perhaps an option could be added with the existing hardware to unlatch and crack the door from the panel.

For my mother to get into my CT she reaches for a grab bar to she can steady herself. All my other trucks had grab bars. Mom is 92 can we get a grab bar that is aftermarket to install? All trucks should have grab bars. Heck many SUVs have grab bars. How was this over looked? Ignored?

My Cybertruck wish list cumulation:

Two approaches, industrial work and globe traveler. For industrial, look at what a Unimog can do.

Power connection points with control, front and back, for a mobile or fixed tools, winch, snow blower, snow blade, construction tools for work or trail.

Control connection fwd/aft and interior for snowblower, or specialised equipment and to custom configure the steering buttons (hoist, feild equipment).

Air compressor with larger tank and higher cfm.

Powered trailer with own battery, with Vehiche to Trailer to Vehicle (V to T to V), this becomes range extender and improves towing capacity at scale level, can even have driven wheels. Vehicle weight sensing, for load and towing setup and power consumption calculation adjustment.

Tesla should aquire Onxmaps to step up the offroad support.

Extreme winterization, in winsheild filament defrost/deicing, heated wiper blade and jets, wheel-wells snow & ice buildup mitigation.

Water tank or bladder.
Side miror lights, trail lights, that are detachable to use as portable lighting 360°low profil trail lighting.

Multiple jack & attach points 360° and for tow or tie down, side pulling with kinetic or standard ropes, using soft or hard shackles.

All accessories with multi-purpose.
Highlift style of jack, push/pull electric, but can be manual.
Jacking air bladder.
Traction boards.
Roof attachement points for rack or overlanding tent.
Winter compatible Cooking center.

Front hood corner protection with cable attached to roof fwd corner, to help with branches in the bush.
