This was just posted in the other thread about this.

Not exactly the same thing as not being able to charge but still the same components maybe? Most of ours could still drive.
Who is Impacted?
Fortunately, this issue was caught and corrected relatively early in the Cybertruck's production ramp. The recall affects a limited population of 2,431 Cybertrucks manufactured between November 6, 2023, and July 30, 2024.

Tesla officially introduced the updated, functional MOSFET components into production on July 30, 2024. If your Cybertruck was built after that date, you already have the upgraded hardware and are not impacted by this recall. Tesla mailed notification letters to affected owners in early January.

VINs above ~40,000 are not impacted by this recall, but you can check at Tesla’s VIN Recall Service. Copy the VIN from your Tesla app (tap and hold the VIN), and then paste it on Tesla’s website. It will show any open recalls for your vehicle.

Hmmm the manufacturing date and VIN range seem off from what people are reporting. We've seen quite a few over 40k. I'm not sure ive heard of anyone being notified or a publicly posted recall.

If your Cybertruck was built after that date, you already have the upgraded hardware and are not impacted by this recall.
Also, can we see the model/part number for our PCS in Service mode anywhere?

The recall is not about or for any PCS. The Notesapp was just misleading and people here keep reposting it.

My bad, its referencing the PCS unit failing/having issues. I think that is why it may have been reposted and I reposted here.

There is no recall. Brought my truck in for cantrail replacement and asked SC to replace the PCS. They couldn’t find any error on my FS awd vin 37k. Told me to continue driving as they won’t proactively replace it until it fails!

Noticed I didn’t get my usual charging last night I guess it’s starting to go haywire?

I suspect so as mine did the same thing and when in Service Mode it should show at least one PCS2 error message. Your exact approach was the way I detected my situation earlier this week. It's supposed to go in April 1. Mine still charges (for now) at 24 amps.

A software improvement would be if there was some user visible error without having to go into Service Mode once it starts to fail as it goes from 48 to 24 amp max charging. As I understand it the errors only show in the non-service mode interface once there's a complete failure and not partial.

VIN 19XX. 9,900 miles. Took delivery in March 2024. Failed a few days ago. Can still charge at 24 amps for now. Submitted service appointment Friday evening, hasn't been scheduled yet.
My PSC failed, just repaired. Exactly the same with mine, Home charging dropped to 24 amps - then within the next 2 charges - PSC failure message.

Also, I could not Supercharge as the error message claimed 'was still possible'.

I had my CT towed, while it still had enough charge to get on and off the flatbed.

tesla is replacing my failed PCS today at no charge. I have apprx 54,000 miles. this has been a problem almost exclusively for
cyberrtrucks ( a few model X). the replacement part has been re engineered and 2 components upgraded. anyone who paid for this should try to get their $ back.

Curious, what was your ~vin range?

Below are the vin ranges i've picked up from other posts on PCS failures. They are saying its only a selective VIN range but they don't know what the range is.

also if anyone else has a vin to add please speak up. This might help with some pushback.
