Well, it finally happened to me. For the longest time, I thought I was one of the lucky ones that didn’t have to deal with a failed PCS. Went out to my truck Sunday morning and realized it didn’t charge to 80%. I didn’t get any notice on the screen for PCS failure. Just the screen saying it can only be charged with 24 amps, not 48 amps. So, I should probably be happy that I can still charge even though it‘s at a tricke. However, looking at other posts that might not be the case for long. I put in a service request, but haven’t a peep from them on when they will be able to take care of me. Tesla really needs to resolve this and quickly. CyberTruck already has enough bad publicity, they really can’t have another one in the books.

I would be okay with manufacturing parts that last longer. Really disappointed with this. 😟

Mine failed Sunday am as well. Noticed that it was only charging at 24A . I’ve been watching this thread closely, hoping that I would be okay. I have a Beast manufactured in Aug, 2024. Tesla Rep said that my vin and manufacturing date put me outside the recall. But my Beast did have the original tonneau tracking system that got recalled even though it was supposed to have the updated version.

Is the update that enables superchargering when PCS fails a separate thing they push or is it part of the latest software update that goes to everyone?

Problem is I never had the error to begin with. I charge my car 100% at supercharger. I’ve just made up an excuse that it’s not charging above 24amp. SC tested out with their level 2 charger + no service error message so they are not doing it.
If you don’t use AC charging ( 100% supercharger) it seems that you would never experience PCS failure. I would assume it’s related to how much the PCS is used. I.e. the more it’s used the more likely it is to fail. My Beast is almost always AC charged at home.

They only replaced the PCS? No Device Cluster Assembly?
