I ordered two days ago.

Today I received a call offering me one of two vehicles they have in stock nearby: a '24 with the same trim I ordered, and a '25 with different trim.

Just looked at the order page. Only major change I saw was the CT AWD is now 325 on AS | All Season more 'street' tires [was 340!]

It's just a VIN. They don't build the differently at the date.

They have different ratings, one is more accurate than the other. One was estimated, the other is actual.

It's how they wrote it. One says 'estimated' and the other says...

It's my theory that they figured out Dry Based Electrodes and stop using the chinese copper coils with the $80k CT's while they kept the original Cybercell V2 on the Cyberbeast models.

CT AWD has 325 miles on NFS, and 340 miles on FS which could either EPA testing changes or actual changes in the cells.

Just got allocated 2025 VIN 61xxx Built 7 Jan 2025 and has an S in the 10th digit. Yesterday it was still in TX and estimated delivery to my CA location is 21 Jan.

I had placed an order around 8pm on NYE, and got a call like 20 mins after ordering from tesla asking if could take delivery that night. Told em I needed a 2025 VIN and was assigned an S vin on the 8th and picked up today the 10th.

The update is he waited until just now to start driving a CT when he could have had one for several months. In 2026 he won’t care in the slightest.
