Yes, this 5-minute response time is a huge improvement.

If Ford cancel my reservations while waiting for their 2nd gen, it's their loss not mine, while you are still in a huge butt-hurt.
Bud, I'm not butt-hurt by anything

But if you come to this forum spreading the same misinformation that the anti-BEV crowd spreads, I'm gonna call you on it.

Among your many misunderstandings is that the core of the critiques you're leveling at the Lightning (eg material range loss from towing), will be also leveled at the CT, or any other BEV truck, as a matter of basic physics

You think Ford, being 100+ years in the business should have known better.
Agree. They are 100% responsible for their own predicament.

It’s like when you were in school and had all semester to finish a project and you wait until 3 days before it’s due to start. Cramming and turning **something** in is better than flunking the course. Even if you get a D on the project, you didn’t flunk out so you can still show up next semester and work harder.

Not butt-hurt with your F150 Lightning but why are you obsessing with putting our Cybertruck down just to elevate your lemon -- or is this the salve to ease the pain in your behind. Stock up of Preparation H instead. Or stand up sometime and walk a little before responding to my posts.

We're going to have to deal with posters who don't know how to deal with their Cybertrucks like some don't know how to deal with their Lightnings, tho. Doesn't make them a lemon.

It means they need to remember to plug them in and set the course in the onboard navigation.

You seem to be getting your opinionating from somewhere from your behind or that of Mustang (the live ones).

You forgot Tesla's decades of technology behind them and the success of their previous releases -- and the latest, Semi for which there will definitely be kinship with the Cybertruck.

It doesn't even take an Einstein to know that physics is a problem that can be solved. If not, humanity would have given up launching rockets to outer space. You would have said: Duh, let's give up, it's too hard.

Well, a good deal of range loss from towing is just... what are you towing? How aerodynamic is it?

The truck also will cast a shadow of disturbed air behind it, a sunk cost if you will. A worse aero truck might not see the same range loss from towing the same thing as a better aero truck.

But then it comes down to: What is the range of the truck towing X? I'm sure Tesla will make sure that number looks good, even if you lose more range from empty.

in your short two weeks contributing to this forum, you’ve only repeatedly demonstrated that you have little to no understanding of the things you blab on about

the semi addresses range primarily through a massive 900kWh battery pack combined with good aerodynamics

that’s how the “physics” of BEV range is primarily addressed

that’s all I’ve been telling you for two weeks, and it’s elementary.

That's why I'm an advocate of minimum IQ score requirement before being qualified to purchase a Cybertruck.

We don't want a repeat of several ranks of frustrated F150 Lightning buyers who flunked hard-earned cash when an EV is beyond their understanding and fell into this truism: the fools and their money are soon parted. Although they keep on pretending they know physics.

It is also scary when these kind of people will be driving with us on Cybertruck meets. :p

Y'all realize that an online forum is like a cocktail party, rite? If you don't like what's being said by the person in front of you, just say "Oh I think I see Ted over there" and move on to conversing with the next drunk person

My daughter said I have perfected this with a blank stare into nothingness completely oblivious that someone is talking to me.

Except, that sometimes it's the wife and she would think I am deliberately doing it so I can have a one week of peace and quiet with wifey's predictable silent treatment. :p
