Hello folks,
I am back again with some thoughts on using FS CT for almost 6 months and driving around for 15k miles. I have had some great numbers so far driving this beast almost 110 miles a day for last 6 months. Mind you I reside in IL and about 90 miles of my daily drive is on I90 at 65 to 70 MPH. So far temperature here in IL has been ranging from 40F to 85F. My avg energy consumption has been 357 Wh/mile. That is solid.

So far, I haven’t had any issues.. as some have experienced. I hadn’t had any recall notices yet either. Software & Hardware experience has been amazing! FSD has been superb! I have been driving teslas for 8 years now and so far I can say this has been the best implement. I have used it Door to door 110 miles on many occasions without having a single glitch. I have used it in city, suburbs, Hwys and it is so smooth. The most interesting is the roundabouts and this beast nails it every time. As you can tell, I am very happy with it.

I have had many compliments, smiles on peoples faces, ended up with so many conversations with strangers. My patients love it, we always have some type of conversation on it almost everyday.

Knocking on the wood, I have been amazed & happy with this beast so far.. haven’t had any trouble and I hope everyone gets similar experience with their CTs.

We have a lot of two lane roundabouts near me, and my beast does fine in the outer ring. But about half the time in the inner ring, it'll struggle to stay in it's lane without going wide and into the outer lane. I think this was actually a little better in the previous (12.5.5) release than the current (12.5.5.2) release.

Good write up, it's an amazing truck!

Getting front seats replaced on Nov 18th, other than that, good to go!

450wh/mi - but 75+mph freeway and a lot fo dirt bike trips (600+ with 2 bikes bars above roofline, 80mph)

You are doing way better than I am. ~400Wh/mi in a CB over 4k miles.

The good news is FSD gets better efficiency than my driving style, so it should come down over time.
Ha my experience has been different with FSD being a little less efficient than my driving numbers. Not by a whole lot though. Will see how these numbers really do when temps hit single digit in IL in upcoming months.

That hasn’t been my experience. It’s a 50/50 chance if the beast will just give up halfway around the circle.
hmmm interesting.. that happened to me only once, then it figured things out the following time and so on.

thanks. WOW that’s the first one I m hearing about front seats getting replaced. Solid truck all around though. I don’t do any off roading.. just typical work, kids and family trips.

Seats? As in both? Is this for creaking, ventilation, or??

Creaks dont bother me, always have the radio or other stuff rolling around. I took it in for movement of drivers seat - aka it shifts, not fun with beast mode in effect! :). They looked at it and said needs replacement, so does your passenger seat. Didnt argue...so I get new seats and winter tires and the flat cable ribbon bracket and the rear motor oil plug torque...and hopefully a light bar (need to ask on that)!
