This may be a dumb question but do you have to have power wall for this to work? I have Tesla Solar and a current Tesla wall charger.

The solar is completely irrelevant.
Even the high quality systems like enphase or sol ark all work with this

Should have paid closer attention, but questions included address, type of home, rent or own, where will you park, distance from main panel to where you’ll park, do you have solar (Tesla or someone else), do you have battery backup, [edit] and asked about your main panel amperage (stopped at 225 or above). I saw the section asking about main panel amps but it was a selection from really low to more than 225 amps. I don't think it asked if it was at least 225.

So only the Cyberbeast gets the $4,000 install credit? Everyone seemed to be under the impression both AWD and Beast included it. The AWD Foundation doesn't get the light bar either. Yet still $20k for the "same" package.

Yeah that is a bit puzzling since it’s the same 20k. I feel like it should be 15k for the AWD

It was clear in the Price of the Foundation AWD…you could always cancel your order if you decide it’s not worth it

Umm that was a bit snarky. I never said it wasn’t clear. Was just referring to the value. I honestly don’t care… I have 4 v2 power walls and a plethora of panels.

I have the foundation cyberbeast on order from 12/8. Just filled out the registration info and items in the app today. Wondering if that is why I might not have received this email yet.

I recently bought a new home, so I'm eager to get this process of installing the PowerShare equipment moving. I'm hoping they let us get this in motion ASAP to be ready for delivery.

Can confirm that if your ordered AWD the cost of installation is not included. Source: the email Tesla just sent.

Only the hardware is included and not the cost or credit for installation for AWD Foundation orders.

It should be for both. You're paying 20 grand more for both and the Cyberbeast already only gets the added off-road light, or so I thought. With the dual motor version you're also giving up possibly getting the tax credit, so you're paying closer to 30 grand more and getting less stuff?
