My CT will be resting in my snowy northeast driveway while I drive my other vehicles (with blizzaks). Curious, I am watching the battery drain over the course of about 10 days (in the event I have to leave it unplugged a while for the plow guy!). I check the app 1x a day to record battery level. I have sentry mode turned off (that'll be a future test). The truck is unplugged. The temps are freezing or below, but a couple days of warm up are coming next week. It has been snowy the last 5 days...

Day 1 277
Day 2 273
Day 3 270
Day 4 263
Day 5 266 (interesting it went up - maybe warmer out).

More data to come....

Great test for all those out there who have to leave their Trucks outside. Better to do it under a controlled environment and know what to expect when and if it happens for real.

My Cybertruck has lived outside since I picked it up in early April.

Not a problem.

I’m in western Pa and I leave mine out all the time. I have had battery drain as well as “stalled” charging due to cold, and it’s really not that cold!

Thanks for sharing this. That sounds like about 3% drop over 5 days. Not too bad for cold weather.

My CT is currently sitting unused in a 53 degree garage. It has dropped about 4% over 5 days, that's with me turning on sentry mode once per day to look around, then back off again.

Is your Wifi connected? I'm guessing it makes a difference, since the truck may be uploading/downloading data while sitting on a wifi connection.

This is good info but makes me think there is something else going on with my truck. I loose about 4% - 6% (or more) per day in a heated garage (warm or cold out) without sentry or anything. It all started with an update back in the summer. I loose more energy to vampire drain than I do driving my truck during the week! This is starting to upset me as I keep thinking it's going to be fixed in the next update but not so far. Before the update I never even lost a whole 1%.

That has definitely happened to me a long time ago with my model 3 which was eventually fixed with a software update. It might be worth submitting a service request to run remote diagnostics and/or to see what they have to say. Report back!

Pardon if I've said this to you previously, but have you tried doing a double scroll wheel reset and a vehicle power off? Software may be stuck-ish. I had issues after a summer update and that fixed it (after three resets IIRC).

How has your drain been…how low and how long unconnected?
