I noticed that the rod the end of the tonneau cover is bent on my Cyberbeast (Late 2024). I’m almost certain it left the factory like this — everything has and still works normally.

Anyone else see anything similar? This seems nuts.

Where do you see that bar? When opening?

Open the tailgate, then retract the tonneau just a little bit, and you’ll see the bar. The bar is at the very front end of the cover.

I have not looked at my truck but I don't think it should be bent.

Possibly based on the stains, but doesn’t rain much in San Diego so I haven’t checked too carefully.

sigh, I guess it’s back to the SC

Id imagine with that bent your cover may be more prone to misalign itself during operation. Id add it to the list for your next service visit.

This is wild. I’m sure there’s a chance it could be my fault… but I don’t think I’ve done anything that could bend the rod like that. Crazy that it would leave the factory in this shape.

My whole assembly fell apart. The rods were not bent they just came unattached and fell down between the bed and the cabin. Tesla fixed it but it took 4 days in the shop. They added a slat as well. No problems since then.

Yeah, that rod should not be bent. It's not on mine. A service appt will fix it though.
