Broke my plastic side mirror housing. Where to buy replacement part?

So yeah… backing out of my garage today to wash the bugs off my brand new Cybertruck I nicked the side mirror and broke a piece of the black plastic. After screaming many obscenities and calmed down and noted that the plastic housing actually looks inexpensive and easy to replace. Any ideas on where I can buy just that part?

Yeah I suppose - i was backing out of my small garage trying to dodge another car in my driveway and some shrubs, and just goofed on the width of the vehicle

FYI, you can go to the public open EPC catalog and see exactly what parts are over-the-counter (ie. you can go to a service center and order) and could have mobile install or DIY type install.

Im sorry this happened to you but it makes me feel better a bit. I've been driving for 20+ years and have never nicked, dinged, or hit anything and I took pride in that! Did you also get really mad at yourself?

Yes. I should have known it would happen eventually since my garage is not large, and the driver side mirror clears the door frame by inches. Now I always fold the mirror when entering or exiting the garage.

So I got a pretty big rock ding in the lower part of my housing. Unfortunately that is considered part of the mirror assembly which is pretty pricey. I’ve taken it apart and it’s really just the same thing as the upper housing. If anyone sees anything like this aftermarket, let me know.

I had a similar issue. I set up a service appointment, then I sent a message indicating I would like to purchase the part for self install. The parts manager reached out via text and sent me the part. My part was the liner that you remove from the window for PPF install. I accidentally bent the part. Replacement fedexed to me was $32!
