I updated to the latest software update over a week ago. I am not sure if that is the cause but it's really the only thing that has changed in my day to day.

Charging set up.
50 Amp breaker with a 40 Amp charger.

I have tested this with my wife's model X on the same charger, and she is getting 40/40A while the CT is only doing 24/24 A. Not letting me increase the amps.

I know it's cold, but I pull my truck inside to charge and it's still doing this. It charges faster at a super charger though. Can really make sense of it because the X does just fine on the same charger.

Also, I updated the software yesterday to V12 (2025.38.9.6)

Same issue with my FS CB. My appointment is 12/18. I can only charge at 5kw or 24a. Sucks.

Thanks for that info. How long did the repair take?
They had it for a week, but the job should only take a day, as long as they have the part and aren’t backed up like my SC was.

This is one of those pieces that people get pissed off when it fails, or partially fails on other Tesla cars. Many feel it should be part of the battery warranty, yet it isn't. I had a PCS partial fail on a 3 and decided not to fix. Can charge at lower amps at home and still make it work. The number of cars we have dictates lower amp charging anyway. Yet on a Cybertruck this could make charges take a super long time due to size of pack.

I would suggest all get ready for some price quotes post warranty.

The most comprehensive Cybertruck warranty (for the entire truck) runs for 4 years/50,000 miles. The longest warranty is for corrosion, that's 12 years and unlimited miles! The Battery and Powertrain warranty is 8 years, 150,000 miles.

The power conversion/onboard charger is covered under the comprehensive warranty so all but the highest mileage owners are still under warranty. I know you know this, I just wanted to make the new vehicle warranty coverage clear for those who don't know.

Yes, but PCS is not part of battery nor powertrain. Just letting everyone know and make it clear ya know. Warranty ends at 50k for that item.

Fortunately, the partial failure does not affect DCFC. It's a pricey replacement out of warranty.

Yep, that's classic PCS2 failure. If you go into service mode, the alerts should tell the story. I'd log that as a ticket ASAP so the parts can be ordered. It's a long job 5+ hours assuming all goes well.

Anyone with issue also get limited when using power share? It would really suck if power went out and could only provide 5kw of power.
