you will need to get a new front drive unit. It’s the only fix.
Thanks for the reply. Any tips to get your SC to replace?

I told them about the vibration and they said I wasn’t the only one. But the top speed limitation was not a topic at that point. Had a chance to test on a private track.

I informed my service team that the car was limited to 114 miles per hour. Initially, they told me it was a firmware issue. A few days later, I received a call saying the case had been escalated to engineering, and they determined that I would need a new front drive unit to achieve the 130 mph speed.

Just a point of note, I never had any drive unit replaced, my Cyberbeast was delivered on May 4th, built sometime in April 2024, it was able to achieve this speed as delivered from the factory.

I have the same issue on my Beast. Tested during my road trip to Vegas a few weeks ago and sure enough it would not go past 114mph. A Front Drive Unit replacement is the solution to this issue.

Picked up my CyberBeast today after getting the front driving unit replaced.

Results:
1. Happy to report no more regenerative vibration at the wheel and pedal!
2. The new front driving unit is much quieter. Had a long range model 3 for a loaner and I would say the cabin in the model 3 is still more quiet (the motors are more quiet). However the ride quality in CB is superior.
3. Overall driving experience seems much smoother and more refined.
4. Have not checked if my CB now goes faster than 114 mph. Will try once I’m in Mexico or on a private track and report back. This was the main reason I took my CB to the SC!

Did you ever confirm the speed governor is more than 114mph after the new front motor?

I had no idea about this issue. I enjoy the 0-60 but never dabble above 80mph.

Is there a vin range that may be affected by this issue?
