Thanks for the close up. Interesting, I thought it was going to be a two piece design with just the hitch cover being removable. Seems like it's a three piece design with the diaper being removable as well?

Musk bits:
  • Cybertruck to have ~85% 48v architecture
  • "we need everyone to make millions of EVs"
  • "protoyping is easy, manufacturing is hard, and manufacturing at scale is excruciating"
  • "interest rates have a very big effect on the affordability of cars, the vast majority of people make decisions on the monthly payment"

Cybertruck delivery event later this year:

  • "cybertruck is a hard car to make"
  • "had to create all new manufacturing in order to build an exoskeleton based care instead of an endoskeleton based car"
  • "sorry for the delay but we're going to begin delivering cybertrucks later this year"
  • "cybertruck is the car i will be driving on a day-to-day basis"

New product:

  • "there are two new products I think that you'll be very excited about"
  • "both the design and manufacturing techniques are head and shoulders above anything else that is present in the industry"
  • "if i were to guess I would say, just these two new products alone, this is just Elon's guess so don't sue me, but ... we'll probably make in excess of 5M a year of these two models combined"

Question session:...

Of course he did.

The truck design is pretty much the same as it always has been so no reason for Musk to refer to it differently.
