I like the new wheels.. possibly a smaller diameter?
18" rims in that picture, so possibly.
According to the Saudi Arabian specs page, the Cyberbeast and AWD have 20" wheels, like the US versions. But the specs also indicate that the RWD has 18" or 20" wheels. Presumably 18" is standard (another cost-cutting feature, like removing the rear screen) and 20" is an available option.

This is great news! I really want there to be a work-truck version that takes the US market like the Tacomas did.
  • low to the ground is huge for loading lawnmowers and such,
  • get rid of the back screen and other things that will just get broken easily
  • no accent light unless it's cheap
  • powered frunk doesn't really help
  • etc

The Saudi specs are pretty much what I expect in the US when the order banks open here for the RWD Cybertruck:

-standard 18” wheels and tires (20” not optional)
-standard conventional coil spring suspension front and rear (air suspension not optional)
-standard manual tonneau cover (no power option)
-standard de-contented sound system with less power/speakers
-No rear passenger screen

In addition to deleting the front electric motor/half shafts/inverter/wiring will allow Tesla to achieve a lower price point and lower their COGS. I predict RWS and SBW will still come standard on the vehicle.

RWD will sell like hot cakes. It’s high time Tesla focuses market elsewhere as US is going through a Teenage crisis! ?

The big question. Will the USA be the first country to get the RWD trim?

Saudis have money, and Air Suspension is a MUST in the Saudi desert, so they'll likely sell a lot of the AWD and Beast.
Glad they are getting them - generally they are pro-America and respect our way of life even though it often clashes with theirs

They dont approve of Bikinis, Barbecues, Bacon and Bacardi... but they DO enjoy them when they visit.

Rock on My Friends in Riyadh.

Maybe someday you'll let us into Medina.

It should help boost sagging Cybertruck sales significantly. The current AWD at $80k plus $2k destination fee plus sales tax and registration is right around $90k “out the door” here in Comifornia (without the $7500 tax credit).

This is great news. I hope Tesla does well in that market.

Tesla always updates their website on Thursday nights. We may see the RWD Cybertruck order banks open up tomorrow.

They need to do it in order to move some trucks out on the road.

CT being behind the lightning makes me sad. Also was really hoping that the CT would be selling 100k trucks a year, currently unless Q2-4 incentives/prices/etc are better it may be down on year over year sales with last year. Hoping this new RWD cheaper version comes to the US and moves some units.
