Ooooo. I love the tonneau cover and automatic tailgate. Not so sure about that storage compartment. I guess you could keep items in there that you don’t frequently use, because if you load the bed you’ll have to unload some stuff to get access. What ever happened to the sail storage units on the back? I could see a toolbox going in one of those.

I absolutely do not want a tire under the load floor like a rivian and I hoped it wouldn’t be there.
I want it under the truck, where every other truck I own has one.
The battery is there. Under is stupid. I'm going to get dirty enough changing the tire, I shouldn't have to pry the mud out of it; also it's light compared to the rest of the truck, so why would I put it at the bottom?

Makes you want to throw the damned roofers into the burn barrel doesn't it? 🤣
Last nail I got was actually a self-tapping metal cabinet screw. Thing put a massive hole in my rear tire. Added air and limped home to add gummy worms.

(Meanwhile, passers-by are all catcalling "HEY MARTY, Y'ALL BREAK UR FLUCKS REACTOR OR SUMTHIN? HAR HAR HAR")
Who knew so many people identified with Biff?

I don’t carry the spare most of the time. It mainly for off-roading. If I ever do get a flat in town I’ll just have a buddy bring it to me. I’ve been driving on BFG’s for 40 years and never had a flat. I got flats on my work van all the time.
I have carried a spare all my life and haven't had a flat in over 30 years.

In fact, I think the only flat I had was maybe 40 years ago.

The quality of tires has improved so much. Managing the exception is probably better than carting a tire.

However, I will travel with RV, in in the event of a flat maybe I will risk having to pay someone say a lot of money just to bring me a tire lol.

In the mean time, I will just have to camp and wait.. lol

Never mind all that!

Can someone with a measuring tape tell me how long the Cybertruck is now, so that we can know if it might fit in our garage? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Let me correct this post.
Can someone with a bag of precision measuring chickens tell me how long the Cybertruck is now, so that we can know if it might fit in our garage?

Counting the features it still has, and l'm running out of fingers. Will it come with 'Abandon Ship'⚓ if things turn 'A Boat'?
Will it have a stock of depth charges in case of submerged threats while acting as a boat.

Wow if this truck has no place to put a spare, even a donut, that is going to be a huge miss.
Aaah hahah but you've forgotten we are supposed to get the special Good-year non pneumatic (airless) tyres that should supposedly last up to 100x the distance of standard tyres. #no spare required, until spare is required 😅😂

A quick youtube search found this:

and I def remember either tweets or on stage talk of the cyber truck airless tyres from either Hans or Elon 😇

Are you going to start a game of business bingo for everyone to play? We could have cards made up for the big CT reveal. For that matter, we should have cards made up for each of the Tesla public meetings.

It is pretty good. I wonder what all is under the rest of the bed that they were planning for.

I suspect some were hoping for a place to mount a 5th wheel hitch.

Rivian for comparison.

No spare option.

Anyone care to speculate on the 'hard points' under the bed just past the cybercrucks bed well in Franzs version at the Petersen event?

Would it be possible they could be underbed attachment points for something like a 5th wheel. Or are they too deep (to far forward) into the truck bed to be viable for a 5th wheel shoe position. You can see one spot has lost its cover for reference to the rear most point.

#i love a good speculation 😁

I always bring it when traveling as well as a spare for the trailer.

Looks like they make them so they automatically slide back when the camper (etc) is turning off to the side but I don't see how those sails are going to let you turn.
